I'll post mine when they arrive (been sent, but Xmas post will ensure they won't reach me by New Year at earliest). But only 65,000 each? That's the lowest of any production run so far isn't it? Is the series "running out of steam"?

What is the inside packaging like this year? Is it black or white, and is it the divided 2-disc case like the first 4 waves or the style with the flap thing like wave 5?

Curiouser and curiouser,

Josh
Its the style with the Flap thing like Wave 5.

Also its black the box inside the tin is Black.

Thanks for the reply! I've already purchased them but I haven't opened them yet...I'm waiting till Christmas on the off chance someone gets them for me as a gift. It's a hard discipline to not tear into them I tell ya, but I'm whetting my appetite by checking things out here.

Thanks,

Josh

Uh, yeah... that is exactly what I'm doing

(everyone here knows I never opened anything I bought so that's why I'm laughing).

So I have to open them to see the numbers? AND how can someone buy one that is say in the 40,000s and at the same store end up with one of the other tins that is in the 1000s? Seems kind of strange.

(They did not have Hardy Boys when I went to Best Buy to get my set, and they only had 6 total tins, but if they made so few, then each store would hardly get any I guess.)

I didn't buy Hardy Boys at the same store as the others. I'm still unsure if I will actually enjoy it as Spin and Marty is the only Treasure I didn't enjoy.

Hey Weird thing... my Pluto V.2 came with TWO different Certificates of authenticity. Do you think that some place some body does not have one?

No low numbers this year!

1. More Silly Symphonies Volume 2: 45,083
2. Your Host Walt Disney: 28, 051
3. The Complete Pluto Volume 2: 31,461
4. The Hardy Boys: 54,142

For me, however, them all turning up and working is better than a limited edition number!

although the numbers are interesting to see the distribution of, I doubt anybody would be willing to pay more for one with a low # unless it's in the first 100 or so- the dvd's play the same regardless of the numbers
