It's Friday so everyone should know by now that I watched Justice on Fox followed by Trading Spouses, which by the way was very interesting and next week's show should be a real shocker. Then I watched Letterman to see what Clint Eastwood would have to say about "Letters From Iwo Jima", which I got to see yesterday at a special screening for veterans.

Q.I. Xmas Special
I've just watched next week's Q.I. Christmas Special which was one of the best Q.I.s ever. Lots of interesting facts about Christmas, but one of the funniest episodes too. Stephen Fry and his guests were on top form.
On DVD I've also picked up and viewed
Robbie the Reindeer in Hooves of Fire and Robbie the Reinder and the Legend of the Lost Tribe
I much preferred the second one over the 1st, which is odd, because the bulk of the IMDB user comments prefer the 1st. I'll admit the second one was far more surreal, and wasn't "Christmassy", but both are plus points in my book. I laughed many more times at the second special.

I'd say it counts. If it was made for TV.
This counts as well : I was watching VH1 Classic's morning music videos. I really think that's a solid channel now in my cable line-up. It's still on my Free Preview channel, 99. But we've had it for over a month now. I hope it's here to stay - I freaking love it!
I also watched about 3 full parts of the VH1 documentary, HEAVY METAL. Or The Story of Heavy Metal. Something like that. The one with all the interviews from all the metal stars. I don't know why, because I'm hardly the world's biggest metal fan, but all of VH1's programs on Metal are must-watch's! Especially, since all their follow-up's to I Love the... series, always suck.
Oh, and that made me want to watch all Marilyn Manson's music videos, so I did (all the ones included on the region 2 Lest We Forget DVD).

Watched Wife Swap and this show was too funny. They took a controlling, clean freak wife, who makes her husband ride in the back of the van when they go places, and traded her with a third-generation construction worker, who's idea of a good day is a cold beer and a farting contest. This was the funniest of the shows this season.

What an extremely lame, yet highly satisfying series. I used to love watching this show when I was little, so when I saw the first season on DVD for $14.99, there was no way I could pass it up!

Jam and Jerusalem
I think, all things considered, this is my favourite show currently on television. That said, I thought it was absolute pants after watching just the 1st episode. Buty its so much better when you get to know the characters, the village and the way of life.
I see the critics are still pummeling it unfairly though. I think its just because people are lazy. People see that Jennifer Saunders wrote it, and they expect broad parody and pratfalls like in French and Saunders or Ab Fab (both of which, incidently, I adore), and feel disappointed with J&J, even though she's turned out perhaps, the best scripted show on TV at the moment. Nothing - absolutely nothing - the characters say feels forced or artificial. Almost every single word is pitch-perfect, and the humour comes from the characters, not the situations. I look forward to the DVD release (hopefully with some insightful extras).

Yes I agree wholeheartedly! Although perhaps love towards it is growing, it been pulling in 6 million viewers apparantly, it's been commissioned for a 2nd series and the mirror's weekly Tv columnist has started writing the best bits each week.
After episode 1 I was really worried, but episodes 4 and 5 were sublime. Episode with the wonderful Miriam Margolyes had me giggling during the whole "Miss Minge" scene in patrticular. I love the characters, evreything is so subtle it's a joy, maybe some of us pick up on stuff others don't, for example small things like the people at the christening all wearing jeans and the vicar having to inform them the font is the giant birdbath and the lord's prayer is "the one you used to say at school". Dawn was a treat in episode five, with the Jesus potato. I actually thought to myself "Should I be laughing at this", i wasn't sure if it was right I was laughing so hard at mulitple personality disorder. I think the thing that kills me, if everything is so wacky, yet the actors play it so straight like it is drama. I mean the whole scene of Margaret and Rosie both arguing with each even though they're the same person was wonderful. And the shock on their faces when they realised that "Margaret came into the church" shock!
Sublime, Bravo Miss Saunders, Bravo!
Really looking forward to next Tuesday's Xmas special.

Must be a British thing.......never heard of the show.
It's Friday night and we watched the "Christmas Party" episode of Justice and part two of Trading Spouses, both on Fox, of course. Friday nights belong to Fox.
