I won't be able to post these until the 25th, but interesting numbers, Mr. Toad. They say that if you have numbers of a limited edition close to the begining or the end of the edition size, that they are more valuable. Your'se are for the most part at the far end of the edition size, so that is very cool!

Can't believe Silly Symphonies is as limited as the Hardy Boys.

I know this is OT but I wanted to ask here since you all have opened your sets already obviously.

What is the inside packaging like this year? Is it black or white, and is it the divided 2-disc case like the first 4 waves or the style with the flap thing like wave 5?

Curiouser and curiouser,

Josh

I am going to pick some up at Sams today. I will see what number I get. But I like to check my Walt Disney Treasures very close and I play them to see if they are working. So if I have to bring one back because it was defected in some way I will have a different number

Well, I bought my 4. Wasn't planning on the Hardy Boys, but the limited number and the fact I used to love the Hardy Boys books many decades ago pushed me over the top.

Haven't opened them yet, because the wife might give me some for Christmas, and I'll end up having to return mine secretly. ;)

Well, it seems that this year there are two different styles of inside packaging. My Pluto set came with the same kind of "flap" case as last year's treasures.

But the other three came with Scanavo DVD-cases where both discs sit on the same side of the case, one disc overlapping the other:
http://www.scanavo.com/pdf/2_ONE_X-tra.pdf

There's a problem with them, since they're slightly too thick to fit nicely inside the tins. So the lids won't stay in place.

This thread has a specific purpose - the limited edition numbers. If you have general discussion please put it in the Press Release thread.

Thanks.

Here! Here! And I thought I was the only one who did that! Of course, you return the ones that other people bought you, and not the pristine, dent-free copies you searched out yourself, right?
