King of the Jungle

The main character (Leo?) is supposedly, and I quote:

"The ORIGINAL Lion King

If it really was the original, where was it in 1994?

And what about those rumours that J.K. Rowling copied Harry Potter from the earlier book Larry Hotter?
I don't think that matters. Did Nadia make a lot of money and become world-renowned? Did King of the Jungle? Did Kimba? Did Larry Hotter?????
I don't think so. Disney just took the ideas and improved upon them.

Now I know there's legal rights and stuff, but I'm not willing to get that complicated. School let out on Friday, so my brain has offically shut down until January 5 (or 6th of it's a snow day!)!
Are you referring to the GoodTimes Movie??? It was around in stores before tha Lion King came out, I own a copy of it.

Well it is important, because Disney themselves are notoriously letigious. If you support Disney taking above-average inspiration from other films when making their own then basically you're against smaller companies or individuals. Disney can't have one rule for themselves and another rule for others.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
