Dead Man's Chest. Great film! I expect to get the 4 new Disney Treasures for Christmas, and probably Gummi Bears too, but I doubt I'll buy anything else till then since I'm broke, ha. After that, priorities will be the Disney Legacy sets and the DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, and Gargoyles volume 2 sets. Then, it's back to catching up with the direct to video Disneys and live-action Disneys that I've missed. Oh, but I've GOT to get Fox and the Hound 2 and Platinum Peter Pan!
Anyway, the most recent Disney DVD purchase I bought before "Dead Man's Chest," which I imagine almost everyone here just bought, would have to be... possibly... either Little Mermaid Platinum or the Talespin and Darkwing sets. Which ever came out more recently (I forget, but I think it was Talespin and Darkwing). I don't think I've bought any other Disney stuff since then.

Yes, it can often be found on the very first page of Off-Topic:sljones354 wrote:i figured there was already a thread for thisMr. Toad wrote:There is already a thread for this, try Escapay's search tutorial
The New DVD Thread IX: At Money's End
The thread was last replied to a mere 30-odd minutes ago.sljones354 wrote:, but it was probably awhile ago
Which is why I created the Search Option tutorial in the first place.sljones354 wrote:although i have not checked
No, because there is already a devoted thread series in Off-Topic where people post their new DVDs (Disney or non-Disney).sljones354 wrote:Isn't it okay that we have a new thread for this???
Of course, I'm slso of the small-populated school of thought that believe the "What DVDs are you buying the week of..." threads make the New DVD thread redundant. I mean, you announce you will be buying something in one thread, then announce again that you bought it in another. Either go for one or the other, stop wasting posts by doing both. I'd rather see an end to the weekly threads than an end to the New DVDs thread. But that's a horse of a different color.

Besides I live off of the royalty income paid by Aaron, MMB, SDM, MMP among others.(not quite the truth)
Posting to that poll has become my sole raison de etre(thats a total fabrication especially if my wife and kids are reading this)

Okay, I take it back, the thread can stay. But I still don't find a reason in having the two if it'll be the same amount of information.

Well I'm of the school of thought who wonders why we even have these threads- who is reading what everyone else bought? Common.... 20+ pages? Or what we are going to buy? This topic is along the lines of "what food did you just eat" but hey, here I am getting ready to spam this thread with what I just bought - so who am I to talk.Escapay wrote: Of course, I'm slso of the small-populated school of thought that believe the "What DVDs are you buying the week of..." threads make the New DVD thread redundant. It has been a while since I bought Disney DVD's for myself, what with being off work since October 1st of this year, but the last two that I bought were live-action Disney films - The Last Flight of Noah's Ark with Elliot Gould, and The World's Greatest Athlete with Jan-Michael Vincent.

The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
