Lion King Music Video (I Will Always Return)
I didn't think I'd have the energy to finish this one tonight, but apparently, I did.

Wow, that song was almost perfect for the Lion King. Another very well put together video, Siren! Good job! I only thought the song was almost perfect was because I don't think Simba was so sure he would return to Pride Rock after he ran away. "I Will Always Return" (the phrase, not the song) sounds more like he was leaving, but not to worry because he'll be back. I never thought Simba at first wanted to return. Maybe deep down he knew he would have to, but it wasn't until a part of his past really pushed him to come home. Even still, it's a terrific video and the music and video was great!
Yeah, I get what your saying. The idea came to mind from another portion of the sing "wanna swim in your river, be warmed by your sun, bathe in your waters, because you are the one" reminded me of the whole swimming scene and Nala and Simba. Among a few other phrases. But part of the reason why it was harder then I expected was the "I will always return". Trying to find the right scenes for that with the right pace and timing. But I am happy with it overall. And thank you for the compliments
I'm Eighteen (New Lion King Video)
I know I posted this in the youtube thread, but it quickly got buried. More people seem to notice them by posting them like this, as I always have.
So yeah, don't ask me how I not only thought of this, but how I pulled it off successfully...

This House Is Haunted (Corpse Bride AMV)
I put my other videos on the backburner (again), to get this one done in time for Halloween.
Blame my iPod for this one. I was deciding on a songlist for a Halloween party when I listened to this a few times, I thought of Corpse Bride.
The story has changed quite a bit for the video. Victor is in love with Emily, but she is murdered and comes back to haunt him, part of him is afraid of her, but eventually, he enjoys her company, as his love and need for her outweighs his fear.
Victoria doesn't make any appearence whatsoever. (Sorry, Victoria fans)

Forever Blue (Little Mermaid Music Video)
The song is from an old Australian/Disney Channel TV series called Ocean Girl.
Though I don't like Little Mermaid 2 at all, it was so appropriate for this song. I also added scenes of the first movie. Its about how Ariel and Melody can't hide or hide from their mermaid-ness.

Sweet Dreams (New Corpse Bride MV)
I don't know. I just am not completely happy with this one. It took me 2 weeks to complete because it kept ticking me off. The video switches POVs now and then, and its not totally clear. The beginning is Victor's POV. And when he starts the use/abuse part, its Emily's POV. Which is part of my aggrivation with this song and video. It seemed much easier in my head. My daughter likes it, so I guess it's good enough, lol

Siren's Music Videos/Now All In One Place!
Thank you for doing this, because your videos were all over the place and this saves much more bandwith than making new threads for new videos, and if you keep updating the first post, you don't even have to make new posts for each new video!
By the way, did you see this trailer? It reminded me of your Ursula/Frankenfurter Video!
By the way, did you see this trailer? It reminded me of your Ursula/Frankenfurter Video!

I've been meaning to compile a list and organize it. Took me an hour or so to do it, but it will make it easier for everyone and yes, I do just plan on updating this one thread with each new video.
And I didn't see a link on your post, but I am guessing it is the Beauty and the Beast trailer voice-over to RHPS
If so, I saw it and loved it

I'm sorry. I guess the green hyperlink text is so dark, it looks like the black text! It isn't the Beauty and the Beast one.

Do you have a link to that Beauty and the Beast thing, then? I haven't seen that myself.

Siren's Forever Blue
Thank you for the link! That was pretty funny! But it takes a lot to be able to match everything up. Very clever, what with Riff Raff holding the candlestick and thus being Lumiere! It was very well-done.
I decided to watch your "Forever Blue" video. I didn't like the song, but I liked the video if that makes sense. I don't like when people let words get in their videos, be it subtitles or what, so I found the credits distracting. Yet, I got the message of the video that Ariel and her kin can't escape their watery roots. I really loved the effect of Ariel singing in front of the sun fading into the bubble of Melody's locket! Bravo!
If I had to give any pointers (not that I make videos myself, though I'd like to), I would just say keep words out of the video because they distract. Because the credits appear and disappear, you could have just put in the parts where the words have not appeared yet and used the fade effect so they fade from one part to the other, right?
Also, I would have shown Melody swimming around and looking at the sea as a human first, and then shown her as a mermaid (because that's when you really see she can't escape being a memaid, as she is one!).
Anyway, don't get me wrong, I liked the video! I just thought of some ways to improve it. And I was really surprised at the end when the song was from "Ocean Girl". That song was on Nickelodeon, right? I remember that show!

Thanks for the compliments and ideas.
Forever Blue was not really meant to tell a story. Least not conciously. Just meant to show their forever connection to the sea.
Also, I put the credits on ALL my videos. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Why?
1.) Music artists prefer to get credit where it is due. So putting who sang the song is simply a courtesy
2.) The credits start before the music stops because I have had more then one video stolen. It helps cut down on people stealing them because they find a harder time taking out credits that are over the music. And many people who steal videos are too stupid to know how to get around it without cutting the music. Cut music at the end is often a sign they stole the video and cut the credits.
3.) Its tradition to list credits of movies at the end, so it only seems logical to do the same with music videos.
4.) I am sick of every day recieving the same emails "What song is that?" and "Who sang it?"....even when there ARE credits, I still get these emails. At least I can point out to people to be more observent before emailing people and asking questions the video already answered.
Also, when I restart my website early next year, be prepared to all my videos get a watermark of sometype. In a matter of 2 months, over a dozen of my videos were stolen, ripped of their credits, and put up on YouTube. One person even added their OWN credits at the end. I personally don't care when people like my videos so much they want to add them to their YouTube, but to take the time to edit out my credits and then say they made them...Well, that was the reason I shut down my site and temporarily moved it all to YouTube.
But I will forever use credits. It doesn't seem right to do otherwise. A majority of vidders do too. I don't find it distracting at all, since credits appear before the video has really started or right when its ending. So if you plan on watching more of my videos, get use to credits
Lastly, Forever Blue is from the show Ocean Girl which use to air on Disney Channel, not Nick.

Siren's Credits
Okay, I'm sorry. I was not clear on what I meant.
You should credit the person who sang the song in your video, of course, but I was talking about the credits to the movie The Little Mermaid. You know, where the fish swims and it says, 'Walt Disney Pictures Presents" and then it lists everyone who worked on the film. Those are the credits you don't need, and distracted me because I was trying to watch a fish and under sea life and words kept popping up!
That's why I said only put the parts of the opening where the credits haven't appeared yet, or just disappeared.
Oops and I'm sorry, Disney Channel not Nick. Thanks! Wow, my memory's screwed up...
