Notice how similar both heroes are? they did fought and became friends in two crossover comics back in 1975 and 1981, can anyone compare them and their I.Ds?
Also compare Jonah Jameson to Perry White, Kingpin to Lex Luthor, Spider-Woman to Supergirl, Mary Jane to Lois Lane and Venom to Bizarro.
Can anyone compare Spider-Man to Superman?

Most superheroes are a lot alike. It has to do with what elements people sympathize with. Like why we uphold them as heroes.
I don't know much about Superman, but Spider-Man is definitely one of my favorites. I'll put down what I know of both.
Spider-Man
-orphan
-got his powers suddenly
-learned the "with great power comes great responsibility" lesson the hard way
-will do anything to save the woman he loves
-rejected as a freak by the public at first
-hid his powers from his family/friends to keep them safe
-alter-ego is "mild-mannered"
-used his powers for personal gain at first
-his true love is/was loved by another
-his enemies used to be his friends (Harry Osbourne)
Superman
-orphan
-his enemy used to be his friend (Lex Luthor, assunming Smallville has truth to it...like I said, I don't know much about Superman)
-will do anything to save the woman he loves
-alter-ego is "mild-mannered"
-hid his powers from his family/friends to keep them safe

Well they took that LITTLE part from an old Superboy comic but in general they did not previously know each other in the OFFICAL cannon as Smallville is kind of a cheater ( but a great one at least).numba1lostboy wrote:
