Wow! Thanks a lot Mike. Please tell me that Widow Tweed kind of sounds like her old self (well, once you watch it). Thanks again, the movie looks pretty good (as in animation), better than some of the other DTVs. Thanks again!
The animation for this doesn't look too bad but I imagine that like most of the Disney sequels the story will be lame. I'll probably add it t my collection anyway.
Thanks, Mike! I planned on getting this, anyway. Could you (if it's not too much trouble) scan the artwork and the disc, please (just wanna know what they look like)?

Give this one a chance. It's a very charming film and has easily become one of my favorite direct-to-video films from Disney, and there are very few of those that I actually like. Unlike the majority of direct-to-video sequels, it's not trying to imitate the original story or supplant the original movie, but serves as a great companion piece, the same way that Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest does.

I've only seen the new logo on Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and Chronicles of Narnia Extended Edition so far. Maybe it's just being used for live action?
The story doesn't appeal to me at all, but the animation looks very good, if a bit too bright. Widow Tweed looks a bit off-model, but maybe it's just that particular frame. I've got it in my Netflix queue; about halfway down my list.
Im actually alittle more excited about this movie now... I wonder if it will be any good. I will mention I liked bambi 2, brother bear 2, and Lion King 1 1/2 and 2. I thought lady and the tramp 2 was OK. so it could meet my expectations. maybe...
