Princess Beauty contest - Round 10 - song

Thanks to Prince Adam for the idea, round 10 is the song that the princess sings in her movie.

Snow White-Someday My Prince Will Come
Aurora-Once Upon a Dream
Cinderella-A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes
Ariel-Part of Your World
Belle-Something There
Jasmine-A Whole New World

I am thinking this will be the final round, but if anyone has any more ideas for more rounds, let me know and maybe I'll extend the princess contest :)

I'm going to say jasmine and "a whole new world" because during this song she is really seeing the outside world for the first time and it truly is a whole new world for her. Also, it is when she and Aladdin begin to really fall in love and she realizes that Prince Ali is really Aladdin, the sweet boy from the marketplace :float:

Once again, Belle. This is because Something There is the first time Belle and Adam realize they are in love-they are finally looking past the appearances to see that true beauty.

Plus, I love how
"Here's where she meets Prince Charming! But she won't discover that it's him, 'till Chapter Three!"

is mirrored in


True, that he's no Prince Charming. But there's something in him that I simply didn't see!

In the latter, I think Belle finally realizes the the world can be a love story, if you let it.

I pick "A Whole New World" also because they are falling in love and I just love that they are so romantic to each other :)

Pocahontas was not one of the six contestants in my princess beauty contest. Maybe she should have been, but it's too late now. I used the six that they call princesses...the ones that are in all of the merchandise sold in stores.

I think that if you're refering to songs sang by the princess, instead of I'm Wishing for Snow White, I would put Someday my Prince Will Come.

My vote goes for whatever you choose for Snow White.

Ariel comes in a very close second with "Part of Your World". The original is of course the definitive (Jodi Benson is awesome), but I do love the country versions by Faith Hill and Chely Wright.

Part of Your World is the song that i'd pick. Its funny, Ariel's supposed to have this famed wonderous voice yet we only hear her sing this one song. Bummer, b/c i really like Jodi Benson's voice!
