Additions to my list:
Phantom of The Mega-Plex
You Lucky Dog
Gotta Kick It Up!
Brink!

Side Note #1: I know it's not even made yet, but Haversham Hall sounds really cool.
Side Note #2: I can honestly say that I probably won't enjoy the new DCOM Jump In, but the acting looks really good. The girl from Akeelah and The Bee has great things ahead.
Side Note #3: This thread could probably have gone in General Discussion.

Well, while the two banners really could be interchangeable, as WWOD movies have aired on the Disney Channel before, "Disney Channel Original Movie" is indeed different from a movie made for "Wonderful World of Disney". The difference really is minimal, as target audiences for WWOD movies usually are families and such, whiel the majority of DCOMs are geared towards the tween Disney Channel watching audience.

Plus, I'm sure they're handled through different production branches of the Disney company, similar to how Walt Disney Feature Animation is different from DisneyToon Studios.

If we were to separate the different "types" of TV movies from Disney, they would be these (according to the TV Movies page at UD)

Vintage Disney Television Movies & Specials: 1954-1979
Disney Television Movies: 1980-1990
Disney Television Movies: 1990-1996 (which strangely links to WWOD movies)

The Wonderful World of Disney: 1997-present

Disney Channel Original Movies: 1983-present (DCOM banner would come in the late 90s, and several titles from the 1980-1990 list are repeated here)

My faves include Twitches, The Cheetah Girls, Cadet Kelly, Get A Clue, Kim Possible- A Sitch In Time, and So the Drama, The Even Stevens Movie, and Zenon- all. I want to see Tiger Cruise, Wendy Wu, Halloweentown-all, The Proud Family Movie, and Read It and Weep.
I don't particularly like the older stuff. Oh, and I want to see Stuck in the Suburbs too!

The only one that pops into my mind right away as being a favorite would have to be Phantom of the Megaplex, the rest I can really live without. Also, maybe HSM on a good day.

I never watch Disney channel for that reason. Their movies are all aimed at a much younger audience. I still don't understand what the difference between a WWOD movie and a Disney Channel movie. They are all aimed, supposedly, at the same group......families, aren't they.

Besides Disney quality has gone straight down hill in the past 10 or so years. There is nothing on that channel that even appeals to me anymore. Whatever happened to the great Vault Disney program, and why are there so many darn commercials that advertise practically nothing except the latest toy for kids.

If you were to judge what is currently offered today to what was offered many years ago..........Disney Channel has gone almost as far down as it can go.
