There's been only one Disney, 2-D Animated sequel that I really liked: The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. That's it. And that's the only sequel that I'm debating buying. (I don't own ANY of them on DVD or VHS). I thought that The Little Mermaid II- Return to the Sea was an extremely simple role-reversal, and that the penguin and walrus were blatant Timon and Pummbaa clones. And From what I remember, Lady and the Tramp II- Scamp's Adventure was cute, but it didn't hold a candle to the original's brillance. I've seen a lot of the others, but those two are the first that come to mind. And I'm sorry if I offend any one here who loves those 2 sequels, or sequels in general, but I really REALLY dislike most of the Disney Animated sequels/prequels/midquels. To me, they ruin the originals or look horrible when compared to them.

There are plenty of sequels that I enjoyed, but here are my favorites:

The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
Bambi II (almost as good as the original, IMO)
The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea
The Rescuer's Down Under
Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure
An Extremely Goofy Movie

Lion King 2 is my favorite sequel, but I also like The Rescuers Down Under. I haven't seen Brother Bear 2 yet, but all I heard about it was very good, so I'm looking forward to watch it. :)

For movies I would have to say The Rescuers Down Under. First of all because it was good and secondly because I refuse to watch any of the others.

And since this thread does include Spin-Offs in the title, I always loved the show Tail Spin which is a spin off from The Jungle Book
