I'll pass. Besides, I really really don't like Dakota Fanning.

I definately am planning on going to see this movie. The cartoon movie was always a favorite of mine as a kid growing up. There is something very special to me about that movie. The new movie looks really cute, plus it featuers an all star cast so I will probably even be making it to the movie theater to see this one!

Hell yes. Definitely, this seems really good, and I anticipate it raking in a motza. Loved the animated film, but haven't read the book. Can someone remind who're the voices in the film? I know that Jennifer Garner, Oprah, Julia Roberts and William H. Macy are all doing voices, but I forget what characters they're doing, and who else is in it.
Oh, and on another topic- why does everyone here hate Dakota Fanning? She is the best child actor around, no matter what anyone says about her screaming. :P

Of course I'm going to see this!

Ha, I'm surprised everyone hates Dakota too. Yeah, she's definitely among the best child actors out there. Though, she is definitely over-used. There have to be some other good child actors out there. She doesn't need to be in EVERY movie... I'm not thrilled about her as Fern, because I had a big crush on the cartoon Fern as a kid and Dakota doesn't remind me of her at all, but I don't mind THAT much. I think it'll be a great movie, even though the person in it I can't stand is Julia Roberts. Ha, now HER movies I could do without. Off the top of my head, I have only liked Hook, and she was totally miscast as Tinkerbell, one of my favorite characters (who was excellently cast in the fantastic live-action "Peter Pan" that came out a few years ago). Now, I know Julia will just be a voice in this, but I also hate spiders, ha, and this one looks way more like a real spider than the one in the old cartoon.

I am definitely going to see Charolette's Web. When I was younger it was the first chapter book I read, and I was so proud of myself! lol. Then, the years passed, and I forgot the story.

Sometime a few years ago (maybe 3-4) I caught the animated Charolette's Web on some movie channel. The magic all came back to me. I even read the book again!

This is such a marvelous children's tale, and I can't wait to see it!

i also hate dakota fanning. she bothers the **** out of me. she always has and she always will....

and julia roberts, too! (im glad people agree....my family always told me i was evil bc i didnt like dakota fanning  )

I think I'll pass on this one. The trailers made the film look awful. Charlotte looks like something out of a horror movie.

This is one of my favorite books, and has been ever since I was in grade school.

I've read this book to my two oldest sons numerous times, and it would be absolutely unthinkable for me to miss this movie - Dakota Fanning or not!

I think some people miss the best of movies just because they don't like who stars in them. Examples being my boss refusing to see Cold Mountain because she can't stand Nicole Kidman, and my boyfriend refusing to see The Life of David Gale because he hates Kevin Spacey. I think they both missed out on something special.
