What Disney movie have you seen the most?

Post by PixarFan2006 »

The Disney movie that I have seen the most would probably have to be The Lion King. I have lost track of how many times I have seen this movie. I think that Aladdin comes in second place though.

Here are a few, in no particular order:

Who Framed Roger Rabbit
The Little Mermaid
The Adventures of Huck Finn (Elijah Wood)
Hocus Pocus
Treasure Island
The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin

(I've actually seen most of the animated stuff a ridiculous number of times, even though it might not always seem that way since I have a terrible memory. Also, seen the more popular classic live-action stuff a ridiculous number of times too).

The Lion King, I used to watch everyday after I came home from school. Second place would go to toy story, I don't even think the vhs works anymore.

The Incredible Journey. I think.

Then maybe the Little Mermaid. Once I got hold of the VHS as a kid, I watched it almost non-stop over the course of a year.

Would no doubt be Beauty and the Beast, then probably The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and Aladdin.

Well, it would have to be Lady and the Tramp, because it's the only PE that I myself own. The non animated one that I watch most its Pirates of the Carribean because I love that movie sooo much!

Oh, wow, yeah, I've seen Pirates of the Caribbean a ton of times too! Actually, when I think about it, most of my Disney films have been played A LOT by me. Not ALL, but most. The real winner out of them all is PROBABLY Hocus Pocus though. I'm sure I've seen that one the most. I think...

I have watched them all sooo many times, but the one that was the most was The Little Mermaid probably.
When it first came out my friends and I watched it about 3 times a day. I remember watching it then rewinding it and playing it again, We may have only done that a few days, but I know we watched it at least once everyday for a while.

Followed by Peter Pan, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and something called Disney's Day Off that I had.

non-Disney: My Little Pony Battle for Midnight Castle....

Oh My Goodness!!!!AHHHH! My Little Pony: The Movie is on dvd!! A commercial just came on for it!!! so exciting!!

....I love cartoons :D

The non-Disney animated film which I've watched more than any other is undoubtedly the original Care Bears Movie. It was my favourite film at the age of three (possibly by default, but I loved it like nobody's business) and back in 1988 you couldn't keep me away from it.

I still think it's a cute movie, though nowadays the countless animation errors make me cringe more often than I'd probably like to acknowledge.

And the winner is . . . The Little Mermaid. That was my first Disney movie and I watched it all the time. My VHS copy makes terrible noises in the VCR when it is rewinding...I'm so glad that Disney released the Platinum Edition so that I can watch it for years to come!! :)

Good Question actually...I don't keep count of how many times I watch Disney Movies, but taking in to account my childhood, they'd definately be The Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty. I watched TLM probably once every three days, and every now and then just fast forward to under the sea for about 3 hours. I probably watched SB once a weekend (this isn't a joke btw!!!) Unless I asked Dad to drive me to Blockbuster and I'd rent another one.

So I'd say The Little Mermaid aswell...I'm suprised at how many people are saying it!

Ha, I saw both Care Bears movies in theaters and I still love them both! Need to replace my VHS releases for the DVDs! Wish they were widescreen!

Anyways, my most watched non-Disney is probably the entire classic Star Wars saga. Hard to say for sure though. I'm also huge on the Indiana Jones Trilogy, and then there of flicks like the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the Wizard of Oz, and toons like The Chipmunk Adventure...

Even new stuff could be in the running. I've watched "Batman Begins" sooo many times.

Hey, same here! I think I've seen The Lion King for about a hundred times... I never get tired of it. Aladdin is also a close second.

My most favorite Disney movie to watch is "Lady and the Tramp" for several reasons. I like dogs, and I love the music in this one particular movie.

My most favorite live-action Disney movie is "Robin Hood & His Merrie Men" with Richard Todd. This is a great telling of the men of Sherwood Forest and their rebellion against Prince John while Sir Richard the Lion Heart is out of the country.

My all-time favorite to watch just about any time of the day or week is a non-Disney movie called "That Thing You Do". This movie about a rock 'n' roll group in the sixties called The Wonders is just an all around feel-good movie.

I am with you on this one. My parents recorded these off the tv in the mid-80s and I watched them so many times. There is always something new to learn about this mythology; it was so well thought out. I like it because it is a fun movie put there is enough plot to really think, digest, and discuss it. I finally just recently sat down and watch all six episodes in order with my wife (we watched one movie per day).

That's funny you say that because my roommate at college had the same opinion. That is a really funny movie--for being a spoof it really has a lot of truth to it. The hit song is a good song too!

I think the Disney movie I have watched the most is probably Robin Hood (1973). Like Star Wars, my parents copied this off the tv (during a Disney Channel free preview--remember those?). From an adult perspective I realize this isn't exactly one of the best animated films but it is easy to see why I liked it as a kid. It has a lot of exciting action that any boy is bound to like. I watched this many, many time.

I think Dumbo would also probably be close to the top of the list also because it was the other animated film my parents recorded off the tv. I always loved the circus when I was a kid (and still do!). I watched Bozo religiously.
