UltimateDisney.com Banners!
Luke, I just wanted to say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the new banner for UltimateDisney.com, with the Cars theme! Amazing. It looks just great! I must say that I want to congratulate you, or whoever it is that does the banners. It really spices up the site, and I really enjoy them!

This thought just occured to me. is there any way that we could have the banners as links to post on webpages such as Xanga or Myspace? I don't know anything about creating links, but it'd be cool if someone could create them so we could post them in those profiles. Then we could advertise our wonderful disney community!

Here's a quick lesson on using HTML for pictures.singerguy04 wrote:This thought just occured to me. is there any way that we could have the banners as links to post on webpages such as Xanga or Myspace? The code for pictures is:
<*img src="PICTURE LINK"*>
The code for links is:
<*a href="LINK HERE"*>LINK TEXT<*/a*>
Put it together, you get a linked picture:
<*a href="LINK HERE"*><*img src="PICTURE LINK"*><*/a*>
---
Definitions
Link Here: The site you want your users to be sent to when they click on it.
Picture Link: This can be found by right clicking any picture, then "Properties", and the "Address (URL)" is the link.
Link Text: When you have a link, this is the text which will appear to have the link. Take the "UltimateDisney.com" link up above "Profile...Search". That code would be:
<*a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/"*>UltimateDisney.com<*/a*>
*One last note, you need to get rid of these "*" in order for the codes to work. If I don't use them, the site will make them into pictures and it wouldn't show up as text.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Thanks for the kind feedback. As far as linking to the site goes, we have a Link to Us page, but not with the forum banner. However, for the past couple of years, we've had to have remote image hosting disabled. So if you were to link to UD, you'd have to host the image somewhere else, which does allow remote image hosting.

Awesome new banner! They just get better and better (or at least maintain an ultimate level of awesomeness).

Cinderella III: Ultimate Disney Banner!
OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH! At first when I saw it I was like what is that is that Disney's advertising but noooo it was the UltimateDisney.com banner!!!!
IT ACTUALLY HAD ME JUMPING FOR JOY! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU LUKE for making the banner feature Cinderella III: A Twist In Time! It's perfect, because it has the sparkle for the dot of the "i" in "Ultimate", and it fits "Ultimate Guide" right into the twisted gold banner.
Perfect scene to choose, too! Did you have to lengthen it, to put the characters so far onto the left like that? If I did have to make a complaint, the one, single ray of magic that beams to the right is a little off. It's not straight. It's no biggie, though.
Oh, these are happy days. You've made them.

Cinderella III: Ultimate Disney Banner!
Wow, atlanticauderthesea, I thought the one with Ariel and Flounder would be your favorite. But I have to admit, I like this one better than the one for the original Cinderella. Maybe The Little Mermaid III will be as awesome and be your favorite then?
Oh, and is it just me or does that ray of light from the wand I was talking about look fixed now? It's straight! Maybe I was mistaken the first time, but did somebody fix it?
