Possibility of these films being released in the future?

I know the first two will likely get Platinum re-releases sometime in the future (2009 onwards). Any news on them? Fantasia though, god knows when we'll see that again.

On an other note, I've heard a rumour that The Rescuers will be getting a 2 disc Masterpeice release in June next year to commemorate its 30th anniversary. Any truth to this?

Sleeping Beauty has yet to recieve its Platinum Edition. It is not known when this will happen, but I would guess in 2009 as a Platinum/50th Anniversary Edition

Beauty and the Beast was released in the Platinum line in October of 2002 and may see a re-release as early as 2009, but there is no date set yet.

Fantasia too is slated for a Platinum Edition release, but as of yet it is unknown when.

As for the 2-disc Rescuers Masterpiece Edition release... there has been some talk and speculation (I personally would love to see this happen) but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Thanks for the info. I'm a patient man and I think I'll hold off spending lots of cash on ebay getting these 3 films, even if I will have to wait until 2009/10.

Sleeping Beauty already got the Special Edition treatment. I would feel cheated if they released a Platinum Edition in a few years and included different features. I'm fine with my Special Edition.
