Well I'm glad that the MI review has finally seen the light of day 1.8 years later. Long after the time I've written quite a few fluffy posts.

Great job at finally finishing the review of this awesome DVD Jake and Aaron. The only problem now is that there's nothing really old, popular and jam-packed left unreviewed like "Monster's Inc." that we can make fun of UD for not finishing. Well I guess this site is just closer to being complete and 100% up to date.

Well, of course, there's still "The Tigger Movie", "A Goofy Movie" and "DuckTales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp" off the top of my head that are unreviewed.

Great job on the Monsters Inc. review! It'll be sad to never see it in the coming soon section anymore. Like the passing on of a friend, lol.

Now we just need to hope Lindsay resurfaces and can finish her reviews. That'd be cool.

Wow, fantastic review for Monsters Inc. It was so thorough, and had brilliant info on the bonus features section. It's always been my favourite PIXAR film, and now I know that it's probably the best DVD as well! Also, congrats on writing 500 reviews! That's phenomenal, and it's great that you guys are still going. I don't know many sites that could reach the standards that you guys have set!
Great review on The Gummi Bears as well. It's a shame that the air dates aren't correct, but I guess that that's what happens when the show is that old. Great screencaps on it guys.

Have to say, like everyone else, I'm gonna miss seeing Monsters Inc on the list of upcoming reviews! Still, it definitely was worth the wait, even if I already own it! Great job, Jake and Aaron! Pink elephant for both of you!



Lukester, loved the reviews for Gummi Bears and Home Improvement. Oddly enough, I was never that big a fan on either show, but I really enjoyed reading about them (though as usual, I skip episode summaries in the offchance I ever do get interested, and don't want to be spoiled). Sorry to hear that HI still is lacking true bonus features, and that GB is expectedly absent in that department as well. Perhaps a few pink elephants will make you smile and forget about the lack of features...

I also enjoyed the Gummi Bear review. I remember really enjoying that show when I was a kid. I sadly think that show predates a lot of people on here though. I am getting old.

Great Home Improvement review Luke. Tons of info there that I didn't know, especially that Tom and Huck didn't do well at the box office. Looking forward to lots of upcoming Aaron stuff, like the new Chip and Dale, and Golden Girls review, and the new interview. Since Aaron's doing it, it could be a younger person. He usually does Disney Channel type stuff, so it could be someone like Raven, or Miley Cyrus, or even the High School Musical guys (of which I am watching as we speak). Also can't wait for the new DuckTales review, and the second part of Luke's interview with Hank Jones, even though I barely know who he is. Keep up the outstanding efforts guys.

As always, a splendid review, that encompasses all that UD reviews are known for: well-written exposition of the series, descriptive-but-still-easy-to-understand analysis of video/audio quality, and of course, the UD-patented critique of bonus materials (or lack thereof). Time to hand out a bunch of pink elephants! Great job, Aaron, and well worth the wait!

Still looking forward to the DuckTales Volume Two review! So far the set is pretty good. The menus are different though because they actually feature background music from the show per menu page! It gives the DVD more of a theatrical feel!

Funny Factory was a joy to review because I actually got to do something that was pure Disney for once!

And the bulk of the Cheetah Girls 2 review was actually done by Kram, I'd say about 87% of it (try and guess which parts belong to who). I did a few paragraphs and edited some sentences, and during formatting, I added a few little Escapay touches, as did the Lukester before it came to print (hehe). Still, most of it belongs to Kram, and he had a great time doing his first review!

Aaron- nice job with the Golden Girls: Season Six review! I was so happy to pick this up, and I am so glad to have my collection almost complete. I haven't had a chance to watch any of it yet, I will probably wait until Season 7 is released and start from the beginning. By the time Season 6 of GG rolled around things were very different, as you mentioned. I love the whole series, but I will admit that I don't think seasons 6 or 7 were nearly as strong as the first 5. With Bea wanting out and the writing staff changing, I think it was just a little too much going on all at once. However, I do think there are some really great GG episodes in the last few seasons. Anyway, I really enjoyed reading your review -- well done!

I very much enjoyed reading your Robin Hood review. I think it is always very interesting to get your perspective on things.

I enjoyed reading what you had to say about this films place in Disney's animation history. While I certainly don't disagree that this film was a step back, I think you might have overstated (maybe just by implication) the quality of some of the late Walt titles like The Jungle Book and The Aristocats. The former was a lot of fun but it was also very episodic and the later seemed like a cat version of 101 Dalmatains with a few changes to the villian. There just seems to be something about Robin Hood that many people I run into really like, but I have never been able to put my finger on why.

I also found it interesting to read what you had to say about the matting. I actually prefer the matted version because I am more optimistic about it being the theatrical version. I think it is human nature to be sceptical about matting when you know what you are missing. I think this is particularly true with animation because you know all the work involved. I think they animated the whole frame because there would be nothing else to put at the top and bottom of the frame. In 1973 the animators must have known the top and bottom of the frame would have been cut off because putting an animated film on the tv was an abnormality.

I haven't intended to be disrespectful to anything you have said, Luke. I don't think this makes much sense but I wouldn't have criticized anything you said if I didn't respect you and your ideas. I think you did a great job and much work clearly went into your review. I think you are right about nearly everything you said.

There is no question in my mind as to my favorite part of this website...and it isn't the forum!

This website contains information and lists I had wanted to find for years before I found this website. And fact, I wanted much of this information before regular people even used the internet. I was very happy, several years ago now, to find this website. I really like lists and descriptions and stuff like that.
