FYI, it's an unofficial rule of the Walt Disney Company that Mary Poppins is the only movie that will never go into the vault.

Even if you wait a couple weeks, it won't go OOP that quickly!

(ETA: and of course, my post comes like, a millisecond after Justin's, and totally forgot that Mary Poppins is always in print...)

And just a sidenote/rant, why is it people are suddenly asking when a DVD is going OOP? Are they actually looking forward to it going in the vault so the copies they own rise in value? Or is it simply just a "Hey, when will this no longer be available, so I know to get it now and not later?". May I introduce them to this wonderful little site, with more information about Disney DVDs than you can shake a stick at:

Ultimate Disney

Or to be more specific, a list of OOP DVDs, which last time I checked, is actually a part of the site I mentioned above...

Out of Print Disney DVDs

Seriously guys, it doesn't hurt to do some searches around the front page instead of posting a thread and hoping for quick responses...

I saw Mary at Tokyo Disneyland.

She said she'll never go out of style.

And I believe her.

Mary Poppins Gold Collection went in to the vault but not the 2 Disc 40th Anniversary.

Also only Animated Classic or Disney Animated Direct to DVD go into the vault.

Mostly Pixar, Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli and Live Action titles never go to the vault.

Sorry, had to laugh.

The GC went into the vault, but not before the 40AE came out, thus, still keeping MP in print at all times.

It doesn't really matter to me if my disney dvd's go up in price when the dvd goes OOP.Because i wouldn't want to sell them andway!! I simply wanted to know if it was going OOP because I've checked for it at a few places here in Iowa, and they don't have it!! So, my grandmother is going to order it for me! I just started my disney collection, so i don't have very many. But i just wanted to make sure that i still had a little time to get the dvd. :D [/quote]

I noticed that when someone posts a reply, and someone else wants to add to it, it will say SO AND SO wrote, and then have what they wrote, and then the person replying to that will write a message!! How do you do that!! Apparently i can't figure it out!

You have to use the little "quote" button in the corner of someone's post.

Ya, happened to me too, but the webgods randomly selected Cinderella II to melt. Fortunately, I don't care, so I break the rules now and then to get rid of some of the other cheapquels I bought before I wised up. :P

I can't imagine they'd put Mary OOP at this point, seeing as how they're opening a Broadway play for her--they need every possible point of exposure for her at present.

I doubt it will ever go into the vault, at least not until the 50th anniversary edition.
