Pocahontas River Adventure (YouTube)

Post by Kram Nebuer »

Hi! I'm emerging from hiding to share more youtube videos!

I hope I'm not raising anybody's hopes, but this is an AMAZING virtual ride through for someone's design of a Pocahontas river log flume ride made on Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. It's breathtaking and makes me wish it were real. Enjoy!

Nighttime Track Ride Through (better IMO b/c it incorporates the Pocahontas soundtrack)

That's actually a really good idea for a ride. Pocahantas could use more representation in the parks. What land/park would you put it in? I'm thinking either in AK, Fronteirland or Adventureland.

Wow. That's spectacular.

I'd vote for replacing Kali River Rapids with this-- Magic Kingdom already has a phenomenal flume ride.

Unless the ride were to focus on Meeko, Flit, and/or Percy, I can't see this ride going in Animal Kingdom.

Frontierland has my vote, or Adventureland.

I know that the program used to create this ride isn't Disney, but I wonder if the creator (who totally should be an Imagineer!), "mikeyca", had the right software, if he could include animatronics of the different characters. I'm assuming Grandmother Willow would look like herself, instead of a generic tree, and I saw one character that maybe was supposed to be Powhatan. I wonder how the characters and scenes would be set up.

That was really innovative and great!
Kram Nebuer, thanks so much for posting!

Actually, they could simply add this with the Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends stage show, making a whole new section of AK-- "The New World". I think it would work out splendidly.

I agree. They have enough land to make a New World section too. Why not use it?

The Little Merman & Crunkcourt, I forgot about the Pocahontas show at AK! Scratch what I said earlier- it would fit in AK...I guess just not where the Kali River Rapids are (I think that's in Africa)...Pocahontas isn't from Africa...

I think the Kali River Rapids are in Asia, but Pocahontas isn't from Asia either, so that wouldn't work there haha.
