Watched an old western from the 40s with Tim Holt and Cliff Edwards (the voice of Jiminy Cricket) called Pirates of the Prairie. It is a little strange to hear Jiminy Cricket singing cowboy songs, but Cliff Edwards is a real gem, and he does four songs in the movie.

Can't say I have, but it's not because of Kutcher. He's good in small doses for me. It's Costner that I can't stand. Probably due to forced viewings of Dances with Wolves in my freshman year of high school.dvdjunkie wrote:Escapay wrote:

"The Guardian" does look interesting, though. Just not interesting enough for me to see in theatres, but maybe rent on DVD next year.

Kind of hard to edit a 76-minute movie for time.Finchx0rz wrote:The Nightmare Before Christmas, heavily edited for time on Cartoon Network.
Unless it was one of those 90-minute timeslots that completely butcher a film...

Gahh...oops sorry, I need to work on my spelling. I'm sort of part of the IM generation, anyway someone on this fourm already informed me about that so from now on I'll try to bring my typing up to par.

For me, I watched Dumbo 60th Anniversary Ed. tonight. Despite what others here might think about it, I really thought it was in pretty good shape. (There were some scenes with grain/dirt, don't get me wrong, but I thought it looked well for a 60 year old movie.)
Also, last night I watched 101 Dalmatians: Limited Issue DVD, and I also thought it was a step up from the VHS...
Also, I just finnished watching the last half (why does that ALWAYS happen!?!!) of Corpse Bride on ABC Family. From what I saw I liked it, but it was WAY too much like The Nightmare Before Christmas. But it was still good, from what I saw. I'm hoping I can see the first half of it eventually...

I have watched 3 movies in the last couple days:
Predator 2 - With a couple friends
Bourne Identity
Bourne Supremacy
I enjoyed them all but enjoyed the last two more. I typically don't watch allot of movies or television, but when I do I typically enjoy animated shows and a few TV shows on DVD. I'm a big japanese anime fan so I watch allot of them... when I have the time.

Saw - I was ready to admit. I was ready to say it. The story was interesting, the characters had emotional depth and range. The plot kept me on edge. Then the most ridiculous thing happened. You know when the guy tries to reach the phone and can't make it so he takes off his shirt? So instead of trying to drag the phone with the shirt, he decides to cut his leg off. From that point I just couldn't stop laughing. I was ready to admit I enjoyed a horror flick, but alas I burst into laughter once again. 6/10 for effort, but that twist was beyond amusing.
