So why get the DVD at Target? What is going to be on that DVD? It really didn't say.

I think I will get mine at Walmart because I love music videos. :)

Well, lucky for me my mom wants this movie too so I'll buy mine at wal Mart & make her buy her's at Target & take her bonus disc since she doesn't care about special features. Then I can get her rewards points too. :D

Good thinking, but unfortunately, Disney Movie Rewards doesn't give out extra points for extra DVD purchases.

We have plenty of Walmarts here in the Island, but no Targets. Could anyone please do me a favor and buy me the Target edition? I'm willing to send $20.00 dollars for the DVD and another $20.00 to cover the package, the shipping and the inconvenience of mailing it. Once I receive the Cars DVD, I'll mail the kind person who do this favor to me, the Region 4 DVD Once Upon Halloween which a rare DVD. It's a great deal and I'll be very grateful!!!

PS. Will the Walmart edition be available in Sam's?

Man, I'm kinda bummed now because I already preordered my copy of Cars from Best Buy, and now Wal-Mart and Target are offering bonus discs there with your purchase. None of this would have happened in the first place if Disney would have just issued a 2-disc Cars edition!! :x Oh well, I guess I'll just get my one discer from Best Buy (hopefully with a free lithograph or something cool like that) and get the 2-disc version of Cars later, as its eventual 2-disc release is inevitable.

Reyquila, you have a Private Message. I am willing to help you, if you haven't already got someone to pick it up for you.

Also, as far as Sam's go, I don't have an answer on that one. You can give them a call. I'm sure they'll have an answer for you.

Since Sam's Club and Wal-Mart are the same company, they'll likely have the Wal-Mart exclusives. My Sam's Club always has the Wal-Mart exclusive for DVDs.

YAY! :D :D :D Guess what I just got! The 'Cars' Gift Set :D I'm glad I didn't get the Single-Disc Slipcover version, so thanks to all those people who advised me to get the EzyDVD Gift Set!
EzyDVD was right about it being Exclusive, no other stores had the two disc edition, or the collectable tin, but I don't know what they were talking about when they said it was Limited! I walked into the store and all I could see was the two-disc edition, it was actually harder to find the Single Disc!
But on their website they said only 5, 000 copies avaliable...more like 5, 000 per store :P I'm so happy, here are some pics of the gift set.

(Btw, I didn't intend on the camera flash being Lightning's headlight, but it still looks cool  )

2nd Pic: Disc 1 and other side of DVD Guide

Btw MM1, I really, really, really like the Tin...Sorry! :P  I wasn't planning on it being this cool! However they still have hundreds of copies of the tins at EzyDVD (Plus I saw 3 people buy the DVD, and refuse the offer of the tin!) maybe I can make up a lie and say I lost mine :P
Anyway, I'll be at camp until Saturday, so I'll talk to you about it when I get back.
Thanks for making this thread though M.Man! Otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered looking for retail exclusives! :)
Bye!

I recieved my pre-order tin from EzyDvd today, and have to say that
I am VERY impressed. Haven't had a chance to check out the bonus disc too much yet, but the packaging is great!

As has been said, the tin turned out much better than expected. The 2nd disc integrates in perfectly as well.

All in all, so far, seems to be a great little bonus for us!!!

Dang! It's times like this that I envy those with region-free players. That Aussie set looks great.

I'm really interested in what's on the Target disc. Anyone have it yet?

The Disney Store has 4 lithos in a folder (like the TLM set).

Edit: And Best Buy has an online pre-order offer of $5 off another Disney dvd. <a href="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bf ... 0050007</a>

I hope Best Buy has a lithograph - they did with the Incredibles I think.

I'm getting CARS for my 5 1/2 year old nephew, but I don't think he'd care if he got a freebie or not. I think I'll get him the plain dvd with the tiddly bonus features at like Walmart and the Lithograph (if there IS one) at Best Buy for me.

I'll probably end up double dipping because you just KNOW that Disney will release a decent 2 DISC edition to promote Ratitouei. (Yes, I know that's misspelled).
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I have the Incredibles litho and I'm just about certain it was Best Buy that had it.

This might be good for anyone who is really upset about the lackluster 1-disc and probable double-dippage - I mean, you gotta eat... right?

You're lucky Josh, you get your dvd with a cool tin with 3 toy cars AND a bonus disc.

By any chance does anyone know what the bonus disc from target will look like?
