Im new here, but have been visiting this site for awhile. A very great resource for all the classic animation.
Anways, on to me story. I own all the theatrical released animated disney films including the pixar ones. I own all of them on DVD with the exception of peter pan(waiting for the 2 disc) and the many adventures of winnie teh pooh. I also owned Pinocchio and Fun and fancy free on vhs before I bought Pinocchio dvd off of amazon, and the fun and fancy free dvd in disney world. Ne ways my question is Im trying to get pooh off of amazon for a really cheap price of $14 plus, but Im a little hesitant because the seller comments say, "This DVD works great in U.S. DVD players. It is an IMPORT but has no foreign markings. Comes with white dvd case, and cover art . This is the single disk version. Will ship first class for no extra charge" Im afraid that it wont be in English, because it says import. Can anyone please give me insight as to whether they think it will be just like the dvd I could get in stores, or will it be something dubbed in like spanish or japenese or something.
Any advice would be great, thnks in advance.

Alright thank you. I know they still sale them at like best buy and stuff, I just havent realy seen them as of late. Thanks.adam_omega wrote:It'll be in English, but it'll be a bootleg. Probably will have a "DTS" strip across the top.
The thing is, you can probably get a decent used copy for $15 to $25. I'd check your local GameStop or MovieStop and see if they have any used copies. Then you might be able to get a real copy.

I found my copy of The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh at Blockbuster used for $14.99. It was in excellent condition except it came in one of those dumb blockbuster cases, So I switched it out with a white case from one of my sisters dvds.
I usually look at GameStop or at used Video Stores for out of print titles.

Is pooh already out of print. I saw it at the virgin megastore at disney world, but didnt see it at the exit to the pooh ride in magic kingdom, I found that odd. Im pretty sure I could get a new one from Best Buy or this store called Fry electronic, but I had no idea this movie was out of print now. Also how do you know a movie off of amazon will be bootlegged, is it because it said import or what?

There isn't really a way to know for sure if a dvd from amazon will be bootleg.
I order used from amazon all the time and only twice have I recieved a bootleg, Once it was with the Live Action Cat In The Hat film with Mike Myers. The seller claimed he had purchased it from Ebay and didn't know it was a bootleg and he gave me a full refund. The other time it was a Little Mermaid Limited Isssue bootleg but since it was such a high quality bootleg and i didn't pay that much for it and i was tying to watch TLM i didn't do anything about it, and I have since replaced it with an authentic copy.
And yes, As far as I am aware of The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh is out of print.
