Yeah, I'm sure Aristocats will be back on DVD....sometime later.....yet I still need it cuz that's one of the Disney DVDs I haven't owned yet.
You shall run young buck and rest, no you can't stop, the adventure hasn't finished yet.

And yet The Sword in the Stone and Bedknobs and Broomsticks were quite packed for GC discs, even including animated menus!DisneyFreak5282 wrote:Right. Disney's "Gold Collection" is just for Home Video titles that didn't sell all that well, and don't have much bonus features.Dottie wrote:Why should they spend a lot of time on producing 2-Disc sets if sales were only average level?

Just so everyone knows if it wasn't mentioned before, if you are part of the Disney Movie Club they still have Aristocats and Fox and The Hound Gold Collection available in a 2 pack.

I remember seeing The Aristocats out and about at different places. I've seen it at Best Buy and Circuit City recently. Though I haven't looked since this thread was started, I would bet you can still find it. And if not, than maybe we really will see a re-release next year.

We are quite "Special" aren't weHappyPug wrote:Crazy Australia
I'm glad they're discontinuing The Aristocats. IMO it needs a new resoration badly! Along with Robin Hood, The Sword in the Stone, The Jungle Book and The Rescuers.
I hope they do release a Special Edition. I think there are some Aristocats S.E design's in 'The Ultimate Disney DVD' thread that I think would be a good release.
