I know this may sound really strange but I'd love to see Harry Potter in 2D. A Disney version would be awesome. A 7-part animated musical adventure! It would be great. :D

I'm quite not satisfied with the live action adaptation done by Warner Bros. Maybe Disney woul deliver better. Just imagine, dragons, mermaids, magic spells.....it will have everything.

I love vampires... no i'm not emo, but I don't know if Disney would do vampires because they are kind of cultish and I think people would have shit fit if they did.

But if they did it in the right way you know kids could like it, here's an extract from The Cry of the Icemark:
A horn was sounding the battle note of the Icemark! One of the scouts had spotted the enemy! Immediately, the ranks of soldiers around her tightened and the shields locked closer together.

“Housecarles of the Icemark. Here we stand or die!” Thirrin’s clear voice rang out into the cold air, and as she spoke all fear left her. The die was cast; their fate lay now with the gods.

But for the next few minutes nothing happened. Thirrin stared along the road to the point where a slight bend hid it from view, but all was still. Brilliant sunshine cascaded through the naked branches of the winter trees, dappling the forest floor and the flagstones of the road in a dazzling display of light and shadow. Nearby a bird sang, the sweet tumble of notes amplified in the surrounding silence, so that it filled the senses to brimming.

Nothing else stirred. The wind had dropped to a mere whisper that barely moved the slenderest twigs, and in the stillness the cold winter sun warmed the thick carpet of leaf litter on the ground, and a rich earthy scent enveloped the waiting soldiers.

Then, like the shatter of breaking glass, the enemy burst into view. Rank upon rank of cavalry cantered along the road, all the troopers riding with pistols and sabres drawn. A murmur ran through the waiting housecarles, and then they fell deathly silent. Thirrin gazed hungrily at the cavalry; these were the first Polypontian soldiers she’d ever seen and their appearance was both exotic and strangely beautiful
and here's what it's about
When her father dies in battle, fourteen-year-old Thirrin becomes Queen of the Icemark, a tiny kingdom forever caught between dangerous neighbours.

But she bears a heavy burden. Thirrin must find a way to protect her people from the most terrible invasion her nation has ever known – and do so before the end of the winter snows.

The Cry of the Icemark is the glorious story of how she rallies her country and finds some extraordinary allies: Vampires, Wolf-folk and most noble of all, giant Snow Leopards. But it’s also a heart-felt tale of duty and sacrifice, of unexpected laughter and awful uncertainty, and of a girl whose friendships are forged in the heat of battle.
and the second in the Chronicles of Icemark was just released a few weeks ago it's called Blade of Fire

I heard someone say the Fall of Lucifer to be done by Disney...that's pretty controversial and would be a major no no considering the main character will be the very representation of all evil...and you'll be forcing people to sympathize with him...it's jsut too extreme.

if you want something that sympathizes with an otherwise known villain, how about Wicked the musical?

Nice drawing btw, I was the one who brought that up. Well I know it could be controversal which is why it would be the last thing Disney might do. But it brings a good moral of making good choices, and teach the lesson of evil. It's the story of how beings can fall from temptation. There other things like love and some songs. that can make it a disney classic. I wouldn't have to be TOO extreme but decent enough to make it great. Think Prince of Egypt with Ramses and Moses.

movies like that have the fault of being too preachy. The fall of Lucifer is really the last subject anyone would want to make a mass-appeal animated feature on. It will end up trying to be too many thigns at once and come off as a pretentious, preachy film. There would absolutely be no sense in making such a film that would glorify the very emblem of evil. Perhaps it could work as a broadway musical or even a feautre film but never a disney movie.

thanks, that's just my interpretation of it (and yes that's Turnip head :D as Scarecrow)

the little girl is supposed to be Dorothy who i gave a bit of a modern twist and made her a sort of tomboy.

anyway, Wicked the musical is mostly about the friendship between the 2 supposedly duelling witches from teh original Wizard of Oz. It explains why the Wicked Witch is perceived as Wicked as well as why the Scarecrow, tin Man and the Cowardly Lion exist. It's a great paly and I do believe it would be an even greater animated feature. It could be a female equivalent of a buddy film.

Pied Piper of Hamelin

I remember seeing this about 15 years ago on my local pbs station, think it was a 30 minute claymation production. I believe the program was called Long Ago and Far Away. Anyway I seem to remember liking it and I don't believe it's been done to many other times. I would say most have heard of this tale even if the story is not completly know by most of us.

eh as I said before, it would be the last film to be considered thank to close minded people, but interesting one none less.
