I wonder how the other company sent it to the gallery overlooking such a detail.
I'm not entirely sure, so don't quote me on this, but if the store you got it from contacted another store that had it in stock and had them send one over, a lot of these stores hold artist signings if an artist will be in the area. I'm assuming they have them sign extra for them to sell in their store. So if your local store called and said "Do you have Aurora dancing with Phillip?" they would send them what was probably their last one in stock, one that was signed by the artist. I think this does increas the pieces in value, but not for a while. On ebay at the moment is a set of Halloween Lilo and Stitch signed by the artist. The person has several and is selling the set for $150. To buy each piece individually is $99 a piece! So the seller either got a discount or is desperate for cash and willing to loose almost $50.

No e-mails or anything. However, when I signed up they did tell me it could take 4-6 weeks to receive my membership package.

Dang. I still haven't gotten an e-mail confirmation. I'll call them tomorrow if I have time before they close. That's aggravating. I haven't been charged for it yet, either.

It's actually because of this thread that I decided to sign up through DisneyDirect.com also. I got my Ariel figure today in the mail and it's quite nice.

I was curious, though...
What's the deal with the "2006 Instant Membership Registration Certificate" form? Doesn't buying it through DisneyDirect automatically sign me up?

I'm writing on this old topic because I want to join the Walt Disney Collector's Society but I don't really know where to go. I tried the Enesco website but it doesn't work for me because I can't enter my postal code (in Canada it's 6 letters/numbers but the space on the Enesco website only allow 5 numbers). The disneyshopping website isn't working either (they don't ship to Canada).

Is there anyone who could help me?

Hi Anne, I'm in Canada as well and I was able to join through a store in my local mall that had the membership kits available.

If you use the Enesco store locator : http://www.enesco.com/storeLocator.jsp.vr
and select Disney from the drop down, you should get a dealer in your area that is able to get a kit for you. Good luck!

Thanks for the info Princess Stitch! :)

I'll try to find a store "near" me. I think there are none in Quebec but I could try to find one when I'll go out of the province. I must be able to find one in Ontario or Manitoba.
