new arnold schawrzeneggar disney flick?

i saw this site about a movie called around the world in 80 days. i had heard about this film, but didn't know that disney was planning on doing it. this says that disney is releasing it this coming june! does anyone else have any info on it? maybe disney will be releasing it via touchstone...any thoughts? check out this link.

Sounds more like Jackie Chan flick with lots of cameos - Luke and Owen Wilson, Kathy Bates, John Cleese, Rob Schneider, and Arnold. Could be interesting - I honestly haven't heard anything about it until now.

Like Holes, Around the World in 80 Days was produced entirely by Walden Media. To my understanding, it was just recently completed, sans effects. Walden had planned to screen it for several studios to find a distributitor, but when Disney saw it they picked it up immidately. Disney had nothing to do with the production of the film. They will distribute it to theaters and on DVD, and their marketing execs will probably do the marketing campign, but they did not make the film. According to Disney it will be released under the Walt Disney Pictures banner. Since Disney just picked it up a few weeks ago, that might explain why you haven't heard much about it before.

I really want to see this movie for all the stars(Jackie Chan,Johnny Knoxville,Owen Wilson,others) and the plot.Too bad it and Garfield come out the same week.
