Can you get Treasures in your initial order?
I've been interested in DMC for a while, but I'd mostly like to join for the Treasures and collections of cartoons {Classic Cartoon Favorites}, and the occasional random movie {The Country Bears], and the double-dips. I went on the website to see the selection they have, but I can't find Treasures listed. Are they only available once you've bought some movies? It's not worth my joining if Treasures aren't available, since I buy most of the animated classics & sequels when they come out. Thanks!!!

Thanks! I can't see that list, since I'm not a member. Seeing as I'm not a member, if I wanted to buy Treasures in my initial purchase, I wouldn't be able to, since I have no way of knowing the codes, right?
And, do Treasures count as 1 or 2 movies towards your commitment? I probably have to hold off on joining right now, since 1.99x3x14.95x9.95 can add up...not to mention shipping.

Thank you! How can they offer both the buy 3 offer and this one? Why is this one not being advertised?
Oops- I just clicked on Browse A-Z, and on that screen, it went back to the buy 3 offer...And still no Treasures listed
I was happy for a second!
there will not be any treasures for initial sign up so don't bother looking

what are you running IE ? if that go under tools , internet options and clear history and delete temp files and cookies ... try that let me know
How can I delete these files?
For Internet Explorer 5 and above, you can follow these directions to clear out temporary files and delete cookies.
1) Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
2) Click on Internet Options
3) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
4) You may also want to check the box "Delete all offline content"
5) Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the temporary internet files
6) You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive.
To clear the Internet History in IE:
1) Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
2) Click on Internet Options
3) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Clear History
4) Click OK

All done...
Is there a special promotional code for the 4-free offer? If you don't have one and they "start one for you", they put you with the 3 free offer.
p.s.- thank you sooo much for helping!
I do have to get going to school now, and I won't be back until around 9:30, but I will check back here! Thanks again!

I know I kind of jumped into the middle of all this, but I'm very interested in the Disney Movie Club and the Treasures. I'm a little confused on all the commitments and payment. So if I used the link above, I would get 4 movies free, 1 movie for 14.95 and 1 movie for $9.95. Would I have to buy anything else? How much is shipping? What exactly are commitments (I'm guessing 1 comittment= 1 dvd or vhs) and many are you committed to? Let me know, thanks!

I believe you would have to buy 4 more with the link above ... instead of 5 but you can go through the process and read the agreement before accepting ... sorry i just forgot what it wasbeautifuleyes07 wrote:I know I kind of jumped into the middle of all this, but I'm very interested in the Disney Movie Club and the Treasures. Thanks again! I figured out that if you look in the link here, there is a 6 digit code (616170)...you can use Ultimate Disney's link from the front page: click it, and then erase the code in that link, type in 616170, and it's the 4 movies free deal.
***edit*** I typed in that code in the link, and I added one movie. Still 4 boxes for free movies. I added my second movie, and there were only 3 boxes. So, the promotion now seems to be only the 3 free movies. That's all that's working.
***edit yet again*** Okay, this is odd...I'm having problems with the "add" button- it takes a few clicks- I added "Dinosaur CE" and it said you can't have more than 1 of the same title. But the first click hadn't worked. Anyway, it keeps on switching from 4 free to 3 free. I'm going to have to check to total bill before I even decide if I can afford to do this, but I'll let you know how it goes!
***another edit*** Okay, I picked my movies, aand the total is $30 and some change. Free shipping! I totally can afford this, but I need to wait to get my credit card until my husband leaves (he doesn't believe in the DMC, but 5 movies for $30 isn't shabby!). I'll be getting Classic Cartoon Favorites: Best Friends Donald & Daisy, CCF: BF Mickey & Pluto, Dinosaur: Collector's Edition, DuckTales: The Movie (:)
), and Frank and Ollie: Special Edition.
There are so many more I want- how soon will it be until:
a) I can buy more (I know, not until my bank account says yes...eBay, here I come)
b) I get some deals?
Thanks once again!
***edit once again***- I just got charged $20 something in my online bank account and I'm not sure if I'll get charged again- I pressed submit, and then it brought me back to a screen- since it had been getting confused if I get 3 or 4 free movies, it brought me back to a screen- I added "Toy Story" but I'm not sure if I'll get it or if they'll charge my twice...eek.

Thanks- me too! Before I left home to come to school, I checked my online bank account: $20.92 was taken out. Initially, with the 5 films, it said my total was $30 something. So I'm not sure what happened. Did the 6 films go through and I only got charged $20.92? Or was it the 6-deal offer, but I only got to choose 5 films?DisneyDVDFAN wrote:Hi
glad you got through finally I hope![]()
if not just check you bank account and make sure the charge shows up correctly if not just call them to verify membership etc and charges and you can start ordering once you get that welcome email or your MEMBeR # from the CS![]()
Good luck and enjoy
I called the phone number, but option 1 was for members (I have no membership #, so that option was worthless). Option 2 does not exist. Option 3 was to hear information about the club. I pressed 0 and * and # and could not manage to get an operator. So, I just emailed the club (leaving out the details of the various screens with 3 or 4 films for free offer), and basically said that I don't want to be charged twice, since I hit "submit" more than once, and that the website won't let me log in with my email address.
Does everyone get charged right away? Yesterday I spent time going through all the pages of the DMC threads, and it seemed that some people didn't get charged for a while...but I did get charged. Does that mean that I'm accepted? I really hope this works. And, it'd be great if I actually got the 6 films...for $20.92...

you are welcomeblackcauldron85 wrote:So, do you think the $20.92 will be my only charge, or do you mean they'll probably charge me more?
And, assuming I'm getting the bonus films (which I should), one does count towards my commitment, so I do only have 4 more to buy!
Thank you soooo much, DisneyDVDFAN- you have been so helpful!!!

I don't know about the charge I was charged 25.90 total for my welcome package. like i said call them on Tuesday more chances of getting through the number 1 800 362 4587 ... hopefully you get the welcome email first.

I hope I get the welcome email soon...but my bank hasn't been charged anymore, so I guess I don't have to worry about that. I'm still assuming that I got accepted, but in other posts in this forum, people said that it took them a while to know if they got accepted or not. Unless they'd refund my money if I'm not accepted. I'll wait and see. I guess it's not a big deal if I get "Toy Story" or not, but I have no clue if I'll be getting it, or just 5 films...I wish I could call without a membership number- I sent an email, and I got one back- it was basically the rules of the club- they gave me an email address for future questions, but I guess I'll wait.DisneyDVDFAN wrote:blackcauldron85 wrote: I don't know about the charge I was charged 25.90 total for my welcome package. like i said call them on Tuesday more chances of getting through the number 1 800 362 4587 ... hopefully you get the welcome email first.
***edit 10/17- 6:05am*** I had emailed a different email address for DMC. They wrote back and gave me a different phone number to call. They can't locate my membership! But I've been charged already! And, I doubt I'll be getting 6 movies, since the deal right now is for 3 free. I'm not sure if I'll allowed to tell them that I had a code for 4 free...am I? Will they get mad? I don't want them saying I can't be a member. Part of me is thinking that DMC is more of a headache than a blessing. Hopefully everything will get straightened out, and I'll keep you posted.
***edit 10:17am*** I called the number, and they still can't find my information. The lady I talked with said she was going to give my info to the web analyst and see if they can pull up my info. Also, I had to fax my bank statement to DMC, to prove, I guess, that they debited my account.
Something to add, though- the Guest service is excellent. Everyone is so nice and helpful!

Sorry about the double-post...but, DisneyDVDFAN, you mentioned a pending charge- my bank account is showing my charge as a pending charge. But, do you think DMC would have had your card on file? While on the phone, I gave my name and adress and they still couldn't find anything on me or my order. I gave them my debit card # and they still couldn't find anything. Hopefully once it's not a pending charge they'll have information on it...So maybe I shouldn't be worrying? I mean, they're investigating the situation for me, but maybe it'll all work out in the end...?DisneyDVDFAN wrote:well you get a pending charge for a couple of days as soon as you hit submit on the site but you will get a Welcome to the Club email soon once accepted you won't know for a couple of days not counting weekends I think... so check back on Monday or Tuesday...

I think it says that it may take a week or so for the site and the DMC to be updated ... it is slow .. if you show a pending wait for the charge to actually go through then you know you got in .. then you just have to wait for the email from them and you are set to go ... you should try to give them a call at the end of the week or next week if the charge is still there on your CC... was it for the 25.90 or not ?
Well Good luck...
Once you get accepted email them or call and let them take your CC off the account so everytime you order you will be billed...
well anymore help let me know
