Just wanted to find out how good Disney is on sending the free DVD's out from the coupon in the Finding Nemo, Lion King DVD's? How many of you in the past got your first choice? Second? Third? I've added a poll question as well. How long did you have to wait to receive it? Thanks for your responses.

I've done Disney promotions at least 3 times in the past - the Holiday Magic Points were cool. Anyhow, I've gotten my first choice every single time - Alice, Pocahontas, Inspector Gadget. Think that's all of them.

The Inspector Gadget won took a long time - I had to call and they had to try "resending" because for some reason it didn't work. Pocahontas took a long time too. I think at least 3 months.

Yeah, well I posted a lot on the old condom board lamenting, "Where is Pocahontas"? Now I have to eBay that and get the good 2-disc version. Stupid Disney. :D

Does anybody know if they will take a receipt from the disney movie club? Because I bought Frank and Ollie through DMC and wondered if it would be ok to submit as my third disney purchase/receipt  . Thanks

the ads on it cycled through and one of the ads in the cycle were condom ads.

if you look at the forum archives, http://forum.onecenter.com/disneydvd/ , every so often, you might be lucky enough to get to see one!

I don't see why they shouldn't. Although, redemption offer service has proved inept in the past; I must say I haven't had many problems with Disney's El Paso redemption people.

I never bother with those offers, as I hate butchering my case insert by cutting out the Proof of purchase.

Well, I was probably going to participate in this, BUT ... I forgot I needed to save the damn receipts. Two were pre-orders at The Disney Store anyway. Oh well. Guess my DVD covers are safe.

buy one of those razor blades on a stick from an arts and crafts store for 2 to 3 bucks and delicately cut the proof of purchases out with those.

I did this deal last year and got my first choice, Hercules (good thing, too, since my other two were Alice in Wonderland and Pocahontas, which were obviously being cleared out by Disney in anticipation of the SE releases.)

I sent it away in the beginning of December. I got a letter around Christmas which said the proof-of-purchase tabs weren't included and sent everything back to me. They said that if I included the POPs I could send it back by such and such a date and they'd give me the DVD.

Now, I was relatively sure that Dad had included the POP tabs. I had watched him cut them off the cases. :?

Turns out that the POP tabs were attached to the reciepts instead of attached to the form. An honest mistake, but it really makes you wonder why the guy checking the reciepts didn't notice the POPs and OK it.

Well, we attached the POP tabs to the form, mailed it back, and, I had the free DVD...by the end of March. :P

Considering the speed with which they sent me the letter back, I was expecting to get the DVD itself by maybe the end of January. Oh, well. At least I ended up getting it, and for just $1.99 shipping. Not too bad a deal, even if their redemption people are a bit dim.

That is really good news! I sent mine in 3 weeks ago, so hopefully, I'll have Hunchback within the next couple of weeks. In the past, it's usually taken months.

Mailed mine in the middle of November and still waiting. Hopefully my first choice will come to me before fall break from school (starts December 19.) My first choice was Remember the Titans, followed by Robin Hood and The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, in that order.
