Pre-order Lion king 1 1/2 and get a gift

Post by jasmine-rules »

Apparently if you pre-order the lion king 1 1/2 from the disney store, you get a free T-shirt, not as good as a litho, but it's still something I guess :)
Aladdin is THE best disney cartoon!

Here in brazil, the pre order of O Rei Leão (Lion king) you get 6 cute postcards from the movie.

With Procurando Nemo (finding nemo) they are giving miniatures from the characters of the movie, as you can see here:

I hope too this is not the end of the lithographs.

My daughter has six movies in all on her walls.

The t-shirt deal is available for online or catalouge orders only. Also, the T-shirt is only available in the x-tra large size. I wonder what the T-shirt looks like.

I'm hoping that Disney will still continue to make lithos too. Lithos are really nice.

Same. Not interested in a shirt I will never wear. Will get mine from CircuitCity for $14.99 or so.

Yea that's true.... the shirt wil probably have some big, goofy picture of Pumba and Timon. I would never wear something like that. Maybe it's not worth preordering. I wish it would be a shirt with Simba instead. Oh well

I'm not pre-ordering because I don't like blind-buying.

8) I am just holding off due to pricing. I don't mind paying MSRP for a title, with a good promo. The litho's were always good. T-shirts, posters, postcards, just don't do it. Unless it's a flick I terribly enjoy (i.e. Atlantis).

The Lion King 1/2 looks very funny, and worth it. I am so excited for the 2-disc DVD set.

I just notices something, I went to disneystore.com to see the offer, http://disney.store.go.com/DSSectionPag ... T&CLKADD=t and I realized that it's showing the blue cover! I thought Luke posted that it was changed to orange!

the shirt actually looks quite nice. . .something someone working at disney or working in production might wear. i wish it didn't say "disneystore" on it though.

if i end up buying this movie, i will definitely be ordering from the disney store. i'm a sucker for bonus disney offers.

I really like the blue cover and I really don't like the orange one. The blue cover looks more proffesional and serious.

Disney Store's website is not updated too often when spec changes occur: ie, their pic of the Lion King cover still had Scar without his scar when that was first changed. So, I'd assume that it's just another case of not being updated. The orangeish cover IS the official cover and the one we'll see in our hands come February 10.
