It's not the end of the world to not have the insider.
The guide offers very little substance, just has the following incomplete information for these DVDs:
Peter Pan: Platinum Edition

-Never Land secrets
-Deleted Scenes
-5.1 Disney Enhanced Home Theatre Mix
-All-new Games (groan...)
-and much more
Cars:

-One Man Band Short
-Mater and the Ghostlight Short
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
-1-Disc and Special 2-Disc Collector's Edition DVD
-December 2006 (damn, they can't even add one more digit to announce it's coming December 5?)
Cinderella III:
-An All-New Movie coming February 7
Fox and the Hound 2/AirBuddies:
-All-New Movies on DVD this December
-And the Airbuddies talk...
Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: A Kingdom of Kindness

And perhaps the last DVD-related bit:

Other than DVD stuff, there's half-page promos for the Disney Cruise Line, Little Einsteins, TLM merch, Disney Showcase Collection figurines, and DirecTV
The DVD articles accompanied by the same stock photos we see on the internet, and despite its claim of being "Stuffed with movie FUN for everyone!", it didn't have previous Insider material like easter eggs or cover art. And even those we can find on UltimateDisney much easier than flipping through a mess of paper and color. Honestly, the DVD Insider is so mind-numbingly useless one wonders why they put any effort into it at all. Then again, not everybody visits UltimateDisney.com, so otherwise this "Insider" has a few bones thrown their way...
Plus, I like tomato sauce, so I may just buy 3 more jars to get one free. (by December 31, 2006). But what Francesco Rinaldi Pasta Sauce has in common with The Little Mermaid: Platinum Edition, I'll never know...
ETA: Okay, I goofed. There's one Easter Egg. For Ella Enchanted. Resume whining.
