By the way, has anyone who ordered it from disneyshopping.com gotten theirs yet?

I love Siren!
has anyone else noticed that NONE of the dvd's have the velcro opening on the slipcover? I looked over several dvds at Best Buy before buying my copy and none of them that I looked at had a velcro opening on the slipcover.
Oh, and the Flounder plush is adorable! About the size of the Thumper plush they were giving away for free w/ Bambi Spring 2005.

Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.
Today has been the Tuesday from hell...but I somehow managed to pick up a copy of TLM earlier this morning. Hopefully the nostalgia will soothe my frazzled nerves when I get home.

They don't need the velcros, since the slipcover doesn't open like a book.jediliz wrote:has anyone else noticed that NONE of the dvd's have the velcro opening on the slipcover? Welp, I finally got MY grubby little hands on it today.
I haven't watched the film yet, but I've watched and loved many of the bonus materials. Nothing too fluffy. Quality over quantity, definitely, although it's nice when like with Snow White, you get both. But I'm not complaining. Disney didn't let me down this time.

I did too. But well, I can't complain about any slipcover. In Germany we don't get them anyway.Jordan wrote:Yep, I was gonna say that too, you don't need velcrosDottie wrote: They don't need the velcros, since the slipcover doesn't open like a book. But it's too bad that we can't have slipcovers "that open like a book" anymore, I liked those

I GOT MINE TODAY TOO! and it was awesome! I hadnt seen the movie in years and I loved it! the restoration was very good as well not a let down in anyway. although the film is a bit bleak in my opinion it should have been more colorful! but I still loved it and all the songs are great!!! I cant wait to go through all the special features now. I watched little matchgirl and loved that but it was alittle to short I thought but good. welp ill be back when iv finished everything else!!

Picked up my copy today at Best Buy! Oh I am just so excited. I managed to watch the Little Match Girl short, and I just cried so much. The animators stayed unimaginably true to the original story, and that's what I was hoping to hear. I also "rode" the ride, and I swear to God, if they don't start work on that thing right now, I will smash something. So wonderful.
Yeeee!
