Dinosaur and Eight Below Blu-ray Discs

Post by gnortonshores »

HELLO,

HAS ANYBODY SEEN DISNEY'S DINOSAUR AND EIGHT BELOW ON BLUE RAY DISC? IF SO, HOW DO THEY COMPARE IN TERMS OF PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY TO THE STANDARD DVDS?

I own a Blu-Ray player and I also own "Dinosaur" and have passed on "Eight Below" because I bought it as a regular DVD. The Blu-Ray player does upconvert it to almost Hi-Def standards, so I am not missing much.

"Dinosaur" is phenomenal. The sound will blow you out of the room and the Hi-Def picture is amazing. It all looks so real.

My advice is to get "Dinosaur" and pass on "Eight Below". If you have a Blu-Ray player just let it upconvert it to almost hi-def standards and you won't be disappointed.

I don't plan on replacing any of my regular DVD's in the future unless it is something really exciting like "Star Wars" or "X-Men". I am satisfied with the picture quality I get with regular DVD's on my Blu-Ray player. I only own five Blu-Ray titles and I will be pretty picky when it comes to getting them in the future.

The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!
