Don't worry, I picked up on the same thing as well (just look at my avatar, I am a bit of a CnD nut... heh, nut!) and was scratching my head thinking what was in there... sadly I'm drawing a blank. I'll have to do some research and go back over any notes I can find of the episodes (long before the internet became popular, I made some notes about various episodes I saw, though I figure most of them are now lost).

Well I bought DuckTales last year, but it's taken me until now to start watching it. And I'm surprised to see that nobody has noticed this, or at least if they have I must've missed them mentioning it. But DuckTales is another show that needs to be added to the DVNRed list. It varies from ep to ep, but in an episode such as Earthquack where everything is shaking, most of the characters turned to white and yellow blobs, it was quite distracting.

Did anyone else notice this?

Or is it just that they tried to cram too many episodes on each disc?

I don't think so, it looks like DVNR, it doesn't look like a compression issue. 9 X 22 min episodes on a DVD-9 shouldn't really cause compression issues.

Further confusion, I've just checked out all the online reviews I could find and they all comment on the grainy picture of the DVD, and well I barely noticed any grain at all! Could it be possible, later batches had different DVNRed transfers?

Hey, did anyone else check out the box set art for Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers Volume 2 at amazon.com?

They have it and the Chip and Dale on the cover are not the throwback ones, they are the Rescue Ranger versions.

That should make a lot of people happy, hope this hasn't been posted already.

Looks a lot better than the one we thought was going to be for volume 2.

Thanks for the heads up.
