Blu-Ray Reviews?

Will we be getting blu-ray disc DVD release reviews from this site?

Personally, I don't have the equipment and haven't been sent the titles (nor have I requested them), so I would say "no" for the foreseeable future. If there's enough demand, though, it's definitely something that I think would be a welcome addition to the site. But "enough demand" would mean enough to cover all the costs that would go into buying a HD TV set and a player (in the near-future), and the time needed to review more than what we already do with standard DVD. Based on the number of Amazon-via-UD orders that the first wave of Blu-ray received, I'd say we're a long way off from that.

For the time being, we all may have to rely on your reviews once you get your player!

That's what I figured would be the answer. I'm hoping that someone who already has the equipment and interest might step up to the plate in the meantime, even if it means getting the review a few weeks after the dvd is actually released.

Well I planned on getting a PS3 which has a BluRay player with it in the near future, and I know Junkie has a player, so there's a few of us that could be capable.
