Can Roger Rabbit be found in the Disney theme parks still?

Currently there's 4 things, but recently there was an entire "Roger & Jessica" pin series through different eras of music, if I remember right.

I've also seen the Jessica Rabbit maquette/statue on sale in Disney-MGM Studios earlier this year.

Seen a lot of Roger Rabbit stuff last time I went to Disneyland.

Lots of pins, statues, figurines, shirts, etc.

Overall there were no less than maybe 20 items for sale, and that's being generous.

A lot of them feature him and Jessica.

oh yeah- there is SOME Roger Rabbit merchandise at WDW.

Jessica Rabbit xmas ornaments, mistletoe hat,
bobblehead , pins, art...

thats about it.
There used to be a Maroon Cartoon billboard at Disney Studios- Above Hollywood & Vine restaurant.... but im not sure if it's still there anymore.
Also- Valiant & Valiant offices is on that strip as well - u have to look up at the buildings/offices above the shops/restaurants....the office also has the glass window Roger jumped through- i think that is still there...

My guess is it was an entertainment cms last day at work & they get to choose what character they want to be that day as long as they can fit in the fur, even if it's one rarely seen.

havent heard/seen him around the parks since.
The one time I saw him was in 2001 at The Disney Studios. I was working there (maybe I was working there when you saw him :o ) and I heard that Disney wasn't allowed to bring him out as a costumed character anymore due to some copyright issues (which sounds strange because of the ride in Disneyland) and they were supposed to cut up the costume so no one would make a mistake and accidentally put on Roger....then lo and behold here comes Roger Rabbit from Backstage waving and signing autographs and taking pictures. You never know I guess.

This is the first in a series of Jim Hill Media articles on the disappearance of Roger Rabbit at the Disney Theme Parks. Enjoy...even if it is depressing. Having never been on Disney-MGM in years, are there still any of the tiny homages dotted around the place left (in particular the trains on the Tram Tour, which we never went on when we were there)?

The second part of the article is up:

It was an interesting read. Once again the whole Disney / Spielberg rights issue is addressed and the fact that Disney had it's own characters which they could slot in instead of Roger, is suggested as a reason for Roger's decline.
