I've just visited the Hong Kong Disneyland Source for the first time since it opened. It's really a tremendous resource for Hong Kong Disneyland, which doesn't have a lot of coverage on the internet, especially coverage in English. For those of you who haven't seen his signature, our own Loomis is one of the architects of this site. Congratulations on a job well done, Richard... this one is definitely going in my bookmarks.

Thanks for the kind words and the free plug, Aaron!
I was going to post something like this myself later in the week, but it is always nicer when it comes from someone else.
It is certainly a labour of love, and we hope it will be a runaway success.

GRAND OPENING TODAY!
To celebrate the anniversary of the original Disneyland, July 17, the HKDL Team are pleased to present the very first English-language Hong Kong Disneyland fansite on the Internet.
We believe this is the most comprehensive collection of articles ever assembled on Disney's newest theme park, and the good news is that we are going to keep on growing as the park does.
Enjoy!

#1 Resource for all my Hong Kong Disneyland needs!
Wow, awesome site, Loomis! It's good to start a site about something aso soon as it opens so you track everything, even it's earliest beginnings. The site has a very appealing layout and the pictures at the top of the pages somehow have a Hong Kong feel. My eyes said, "Mmmmm".
And oh my gosh, they'll have "The Villains Lair"! Why can't Disney World get something like that? Of course I'd prefer a Villains land, but...

Good work Loomis! I look forward to watching HKdisneyland source website grow along with the actual park!!....
Like a lot of others we await your review / summary of the park once you return!
I hope you get a chance to "use the force" and get a feeling as to what else might be brewing there...(or you could peek over a fence) ie are any areas under construction that look like they might house a haunted mansion...or a much beloved carribean themed pirate ride for example....the word..storm rider... has been bandied about..the possibilities for growth are endless...

Thanks again for all the kind words.
Don't worry, mr arrow. I'll be plenty snap-happy next week, and I'll get all the goos I possibly can. You'll know where to find it too.
Bit of an update:
HONG KONG (September 5, 2006) All-Star basketball player Kobe Bryant visited Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Sept. 5, 2006 to enjoy the theme park and join Disney officials in announcing plans to send young basketball players through his foundation from Hong Kong to the United States to live their basketball dreams with the international sports superstar.
More can be found at HKDL Source, of course!
