I'm afraid I can't take credit for that phrasing - it came from one of the submitted nominations. I like it though! And many dittos and cheers to your post regarding the infamous Bible thread and the mutual respect established (in part) in it.

Hooray! I'm glad! And thanks to you and all the others who posted compliments on the podcast. I didn't even realize some of you were listeners, so that's exciting!

I can't wait!

Thanks again everyone! You're all too kind.

Elliott Appreciates Aaron!

Post by Disney Duster »

I just read that while Luke was on vacation, Aaron was nice enough to take over the site, and keep everything working smoothly. He succeeded, and Aaron Wallace gets Brazzle Dazzle Appreciation from me!

But of course, none of our appreciation for Aaron Wallace can compare to that of Elliot:

Awwwwww. Elliott loves Aaron.

And I can't keep that picture up forever, so appreciate it while it's still up!

Thank you for all that you do, Aaron Wallace!

HEY! HEY! HEY! I missed this thread!

Oh well, here goes a big thank you to the coolest (and youngest...I think) moderator on UD. And congratulations for the ability of keeping the forums up and running even while our Lukester was selfishly having a holiday while you were slaving away at the site. (wink)

:P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P
No Luke, I didn't mean that!

I'm making a little something for you.

I can't take too much credit for "running the site" while Luke was vacationing, as I really didn't do all that much.

Along with Luke, I think you are one of the best contributors on the site and don't get enough credit for everything you do. Reviewing DVDs/Blu-rays, moderating the forum and a bunch of other stuff behind the scenes that we don't necessarily see. So, I would like to thank you for everything that you've done in the past however many years you've been apart of UltimateDisney/DVDizzy. Thank you and everything you do is greatly appreciated! THANKS AARON!

As other's have already said (four years ago, I might add, before I was even a member of the board!), Aaron does a wonderful job as a moderator and his reviews are always insightful. Plus, he does so much more such as the forum awards and the podcasts, he's really incredible!

Just as with the Luke thread, I am seeing this one for the first time, as well!

Thanks Aaron, for all of your work on the site - especially for those excellent, well-written, and thorough reviews! Keep up the great work! :)

Since my last post in this thread was more jokey than serious, I thought I'd return and amend that.

I remember when Aaron Wallace, Esq. first started reviewing for UD (he wasn't an Esq. yet!). I originally thought "Wow, that's cool! He gets to review the Golden Girls DVDs!" And it just grew from there that Aaron has become just as synonymous with UD as Luke has. In addition, his work with Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod makes for exciting listening material (I don't get to listen as often as I want, but I have written to him about episodes before). Kudos to Aaron for being able to commit so much time to reviews, ZADDP, and forum activity. Whether it be the original Survivor Games (which I didn't play, but watched from afar) or the various Awards, Aaron's provided plenty of exciting things to do on the forums, and often is a class act when some discussions get ugly. I rarely see him write angrily on the forums, he's one of the calmest people here.

How nice to stumble into Off-Topic and find this thread bumped after so long. Thank you for all of your kind words, both on my work here at DVDizzy/UltimateDisney and on Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod. It's always great to see UD community members turn up in my listening audience too.

Thanks again! You guys rock!

I recently discovered your Pod, it's great. I decided to start from ep.1 so I'm still in 2006. In fact, I'm about to listen to ep.11 which is the Top 10 Countdown for Disney mothers.

Unfortunately it seems I'm years too late for the Mouse Pod which you mention at various times. I can't even find the old episodes, whereas I was able to find all of the episodes for the "All About the Mouse" pod which ended back in July.

Thank you! I'm glad you found the show and hope you enjoy catching up to the newer episodes (I just posted a new Halloween podcast!). Bear with the early episodes, though. I'd like to think the show has gotten a lot better since then!

Unfortunately, the Mouse Pod has concluded its run and no episodes are available online at this time.

Haha, don't worry, I understand all to well now about starting up a podcast. The first episode was clearly a level down in terms of sound quality, but you did put the warning up. From then on everything was fine, but I didn't realize how much the audio quality actually improved from Ep.2 to now. In episode 2 it was still clear and easy to listen to, things just became that much better later on.

I'm now in 2009 with my next episode being #34, which looks at the Top 20 things about Hollywood Studios. So I'm closing in on the present day. :P
