I'm Getting Treasures!!!!!!!!!!

Post by TheSequelOfDisney »

I've been snooping around on my mom's ebay account and noticed that she has gotten Treasures! Most likely for me, because I asked for them. I love my mom! She has bought: Disney Rarities, Mickey Mouse in Black & White Volume 1, The Complete Goofy, The Chronological Donald Volume 1, and Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 2. She also bought The Disney Keepsakes Memorabillia Hardback book. I love my mom!!!

If she finds out you've been snooping, you may have to change the topic title to "I'm Not Getting Treasures Anymore!!!!!!" :P

Anyways, congrats on getting Treasures! Hint around to her that you want Tomorrowland too. And On the Front Lines. OTFL is perhaps one of, if not, the best Treasures set.

Escapay, Sequel's mom could have gotten them cheaper...instead of using e-bay.

You know that for a fact? Sequel never said how much his mom is paying for the DVDs. Just because it's e-bay doesn't mean it'll always be expensive.

Well, time to update:

For my birthday, I am getting "TomorrowLand" from Best Buy, and "Walt Disney on the Front Lines" from eBay. I'm really looking forward to these sets, especially the "Front Lines" set, hearing that it's a very nice set. "TomorrowLand" looks interesting, and I really don't know that much about DisneyLand, I know shocker!

Anyway, I'll update if I get anymore.

As much as I consider the classic shorts the main attraction of the WDTs, I still tend to think that the "Tomorrowland" set is the most "exceptional" one beside the "Front Lines" set - I'd say you've got something to look forward to!

Wow! You sure are lucky to have a mom that is very willing to get Disney movies for you! (Espeically ones like the Treasures, which can potentially be very expensive)!

I personally only own one Treasure (Silly Symphonies: Volume 2). But then again, I'm planning on getting a maximum of 5 Treasures. And I'm (hoping to) get another one this weekend (Rarities) (Yes, I know I said I would do that about 2 weeks ago, but I've been really busy with school, drama productions and such..). So, I guess 2/5 isn't that bad. AND there's a possibility of getting On the Front Lines sometime before the end of May. There's apparently a Borders Store that has a copy, but it's a two hour drive from where I live. But, our Senior Trip is always to this town/city (sorry for the discreteness, but I'm trying not to give specifics due to security and whatnot. ) where the Border's is located, and we're allowed to roam around for the whole day. So I might get On the Front Lines then (that is, if it's still there when we go on the trip).

Ok, I promise I'm done with my little tangent...for now. :P I'm curious Sequel, which Treasures do you have so far?

And again, congrats!

You should seriously considering picking up "Mickey Mouse in Living Colour volume 1" at some point in the near future, before it becomes even more scarce on eBay. Last I checked, you can still pick it up in its tin for under $100. "Silly Symphonies Volume 1" would also be good to pick up.

Alright, well it's not Treasures, though I am asking for some this year as well, but I did some more snooping and I think I am getting the 40GB PS3 this year. Though I'm not sure, I don't really want it just for me. I will only be using it to watch movies, so it will likely go downstairs in the living room to be used with the HDTV so that my entire family can watch High-Def movies. I'm hoping it will be more of a family present and not just for me. If I feel guilty, I'll probably just give some money to my mom to help pay for it since that is what I was going to do eventually. $400 is a lot for just one person. I have about $150, about 1/3 of the price, but I don't know what I'm going to do..........

I'm not sure if I'm excited or depressed about this..............................
