I would like to thank you for how quickly you all dealt with the new member problem that recently occurred on this site. I must say that this is the best moderated site that I have ever been on. Thanks again and I hope that the problem didn't cause too much trouble!

BTW, was this why the boards was unavailable for me for the past half hour? I just e-mailed Luke about it, then out of habit checked the forum again, and found it was finally running.

I don't know what Mushu is talking about and I'd like to know. Oh and I too was wondering why we were getting a "Page not found" note and not the forum an hour ago.

I think that whoever corrected the problem should be the one to explain what happened, but I think that someone, or a group of people, kept signing up with multiple accounts and kept spamming the board causing the moderators to have to shut it down and delete the new accounts and threads.
