Why don't they go for somewhere other than the Far East?

Come on, I wanna see London Disneyland (come on, it'll be in the UK!) or Disneyland Australia, as that will make a possibly awesome visit even more amazing. :(

If there was a London Disneyland, I would probably move to England and never leave.

Indeed, and it would mean I wouldn't have to travel half-way around the world to be covered in Disney goodness...

Sydney to Anaheim - 13+ hours (+ another 4 from there to WDW)
Sydney to Hong Kong - 8 hours
Sydney to Tokyo - 9 hours
Sydney to Paris - 18 hours

Sydney to Sydney - Priceless :D

(I'd also save a fortune)

Disneyland Australia would be a dream come true! And it would make bloody sense! We have a huge amount of tourists visit us every year and I'm sure a hell of a lot of them would go to a Disneyland park!

I wonder if Disneyland Australia will have exclusive attractions themed to The Rescuers Down Under. It would be wrong to not to.

Back to the news...Shanghai Disneyland! Sounds cool. Lol, Disney saves on shipping since all the theme park souveniers are made there!

Hasn't Disney being complaining that Hong kong Disneyland hasn't been doing to well? I agree, they should try somewhere new like Australia!

But how many of them can truly afford the Disney experience? Yes, the economy there is growing, but that doesn't mean that the poor are getting any richer (at least not yet).

Rachael, this is off-topic, but your location says that you're next to John Rolfe. Does Pocahontas know this?

Forget a new theme park. Used the damn money to improve and make the current 5 parks much better. Like WDW's Magic Kingdom for example.

I agree. We need a Disney World Canada. I live in Canada and in the last year will be going to either Disneyland/Disney World for the third time this December.

they should make a disney world in like central or south america, like Disney World Costa Rica or Disney Land Cancun. imangine the city where you could get drunk and go to the happiest place on earth but it's just fantasizing.

I agree with Super Aurora. Disney really needs to just concentrate on their five existing parks now instead of just building another park. Look at the crappy quality Walt Disney Studios Paris had when it opened, along with the great lack of attractions when Hong Kong's opened. Not to mention the horrible maintenance state that Disney allowed WDW's Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain to deteroriate into before they finally allowed the money for them to get updated effects and fixing long broken ones. Disney needs to focus on the maintenance of their pre-existing parks now than build a sixth resort.
