Is that it?

Are they not doing more (apart from a House of Mouse day on both the US and UK Disney channels). Seem's that Disney promote other stuff (like Lizze Mcquire and Kim Possible) more than Mickey - the mouse that started it all.

Yeah, it seems a bit minimal for the one that started it all. I would expect a month or ultimately, a year long celebration.

They were originally saying that they weren't going to celebrate it at all because they didn't want kids to not like him anymore when they heard that he was 75 years old.

I dunno. The logic of these executives. Did his 60th Anniversary celebrations result in a downturn of popularity?

Still Disney has choosen what they're going to promote this year: Pirates of the Carribean, Finding Nemo and Lizzy McQuire. Can't have anything diluting the "plan" can we?

I remember Mickey's 60th birthday, my sister and I got these cool pencil tins with a black and white picture of mickey in Steamboat Willie on the left side and a colour picture of Mickey from ? on the right. We used them for years, in fact I think I've still got mine somewhere.
