You have to go to a good store. I went to two HMVs, and both told me it was delayed again. However, I went to Sunrise Records (a smaller chain, usually with better prices and selection) and they had about 10 copies, and were even playing it on the stores TVs. Bay St. Video (independent store in Toronto) had several copies as well.

Also, is there nobody (except Kram Nebuer, who I thank for at least acknowledging my post) who's posted since my last message that has this set, and is willing to take a brief glance and answer my question?

I was able to get a look at my friend's copy and the two spines (outer box and inner digipak) look pretty identical to me.

Thanks Luke... I'll likely exchange it this afternoon, provided Canada wasn't used as a dumping ground for bad stock.

Just check EVERY store you can I had given up and had planned a little trip to the US until I saw Cinema 1 had three copies. So there leaking out all you have to do is just look harder.
I really cant be bothered to put that much effort into it to check every store.

Weird! I was pondering to myself last night before going to bed when Volume 2 would be announced. I love the cover for Animaniacs with Wakko being in front this time.

Hopefully, this set will have better bonus features... though I doubt the transfers will be any better.

Yup, we have both Animaniacs and PATB on December 5th but it might be the sameday for Walt Disney Treasure Wave 6. I'll probably pre-order all the four Treasures at Amazon so I could support UD. Then I'll buy Animanicas and PATB over at Best Buy.
Zoom and Snakes on Plane is rumor to come out on December 5th so if they do come out I'll probably get them on December 5th or the day after Christmas if it's on special.

If I lived out of North America, I'd order these off Amazon.com or eBay to get my hands on them. I wouldn't wait for them to release it in a different region.

YEEEHAAA!

Warner has made note that the artwork is subject to change.

I love how WB is emphasizing the 5 discs. Too bad they aren't doing the numerous "pencil" drawings of the three of them as the background.

I can't believe Warner! Pushing the set back a whole month! :x The cover art for Volume 2 looks great, though!

Now even though I'm more than excited that Volume 2 will be coming out in December, I just can't believe that you all want more and I haven't finished watching Volume 1 yet. What's up with that? ;)

Volume 1 is probably going to be my favorite anyways because it has King Yakko. I just love that episode...

And know our national anthem...

Great leaping salamanders of flame, that was fast! I haven't even picked up volume 1. Hell, I haven't even finished volume 1 of Ducktales yet! (I know that's completely irrelevant to the subject at hand, but it just shows how far behind I am.)

I love the Vol. 2 cover art! I just DO hope that they will be the light "pencil" drawings too. I mean it could still happen its only August.

I got my first set about two weeks ago, and I was surprised at how enjoyable the show still was. If you have 5.1 surround capabilities, you'd be surprised at how well-done the 5.1 remixes are -- the musical score is rich and vibrant, surprisingly deep bass and occasional split-surround usage. Warner is commended for doing this on this specific TV show and I'd like to see more 5.1 mixes for their more recent shows. (And the Portuguese dubs are hilarious!)

I'm happy Warner has announced a second volume, it means the first set is selling like hotcakes and people want more. And there will be extras for the second volume -- TV Shows on DVD mentioned that footage from Comic-Con will emerge (probably a guest panel Q&A with the voice actors and crew involved with the show). And yes, the second volume will also have 5.1 and 2.0 surround tracks (sadly no Portuguese mono dub will be included on the second set).

I'm waiting for mid September, when my Dad goes to Canada for a meeting, I'll make him pick the first set up for me :D . If that fails, I'll get them from Ebay like you suggested.

Can anyone give me the list of the episodes on Volume 2? In addition does anyone know what the disc art looks like?
