Oh wow, according to that review they got Alan Menken to do the commentary again in addition to Ron and John; I heard him do a little on Beauty and the Beast but for some reason it never occured to me that he would do this one too. Exellent news. I'm sure the three of them will make for a fun listen.
Can't wait!

Why does this always happen to us danes? Would love to have some one-on-one time with the person who suddenly had the idea that Denmark outta have a special cover for itself.
If you hadn't guessed by my rant, I aint all that pleased with the Danish coverart. IMO, the writing saying "Havfrue" looks way too homemade. Perhaps that's just me though.
I guess everybody just wish their fav. disney movie to have the best possible DVD.

the miserable, the lonely and depressed. Pathetic?
I do admire the Danish team for making their own cover - instead of just using the USA one and just translating the text on it... However I really do prefer the R1 cover...Unregistered wrote:Why does this always happen to us danes? It's not that I don't appreciate their gesture but when the end result ends up looking (again, in my opinion) worse than the coverart given to begin with, it's just not worth it.271286 wrote:I do admire the Danish team for making their own cover - instead of just using the USA one and just translating the text on it... I would have liked the team to focus more on getting a Danish 2disc release instead - would have been a better use of energy, IMO. I'd value special features higher than coverart at any time.

I wonder if a trilogy will be released? With the expectance of TLM3 of course. It's only another 57 days until The Little Mermaid comes out on DVD in Australia!
Although, my local JB HI-FI did release Lady and the Tramp about 2 weeks early, so even less waiting time!!!
I'm getting SOOOOO excited
Is it possible though that the release date is going to be pushed back to fix Ariel's seven fingers on the cover?

In the Netherlands, TLM2 will be released in a duo pack too. The release date is october 18, the same as the 1-disc and 2-disc DVD's of TLM. On october 25, TLM2 will be released without TLM too. But if it's a new edition or just a reissue... we don't know.Prince Ali wrote:Seriously?! I personally like this cover better than the US one.
I like that cover, but I prefer the US/UK one because it seems more alive. That would've been great for a gift set cover though.

Whether it's a reissue or a completely new edition, I don't care as long as we get it. I didn't buy the sequel when it was first released.Scabbie wrote:In the Netherlands, TLM2 will be released in a duo pack too. Interesting; it's odd that they make different covers around the world, but it's kind of cool at the same time.Jeremy wrote:Here in Finland we have that Japanese cover as a CD soundtrack cover. Not every cover has been changed. We kept the covers of Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, Cinderella, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.beckalovesariel wrote:australia will not get that cover! almost every region 4 cover has been different to the region 1 cover.joshthesim26 wrote:Is it possible though that the release date is going to be pushed back to fix Ariel's seven fingers on the cover?

Only two of our covers have changed, and they are Bambi and Lady and the Tramp, because they weren't very appealing, and they are two of the least favourite covers in the 'Favourite Platinum Cover' Poll.
Believe it or not, this is the U.S.A's final cover!!! If you go tohttp://www.littlemermaiddvd.com you'll see it there.
Plus if you go to this link, you'll also find that whilst the cover art is 'Subjected to Change' there is a large probability we will be recieving this cover.
The Little Mermaid- Australian DVD
If the Region 1 title is delayed, the Australian release would still be delayed aswell, not because we are getting the same cover, it's because no country gets something American before the Americans. Why do you think we are getting TLM one day later? Because we're one day ahead of them on Global time!
Trust me, I know my Little Mermaid!!!
