Hi, Looking for help with Disney A Bugs Life DVD

Post by Syzable »

Hi, new here and first post, so hello and thanks for any help given.

I listed a few of my duplicate Disney DVD's on ebay today and i keep getting loads of questions about A Bugs Life 2 Disc Collectors Edition i've put on among others asking how much i'd be willing to accept. I must admit, it's taken me by surprise a little. Is this DVD pretty rare and hard to get hold of now? It's the 2002 issue 2 disc collectors edition and i put it on as i have the 1 disc and rarely watch the extras. I've had similar questions as well about Atlantis The Lost Empire which is in a slipcase also.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

i've only ever seen the 2 disc edition or bugs life once, it was in a shop in leicester in the uk, i've never ever seen it since, i bought it though, cost me £8.99

from my personal experience i would say it was rare

The 2 Disc edition of A Bug's Life went out of print on September 27th 2005, as we discovered and discussed in this thread. Because of this and the fact that the A Bug's Life collector's edition is now going for £42.99 at Amazon Marketplace (thank god I got the DVD for around £15 just two months before it went away...), I would agree with Samuel and say that it is rare.

Thanks for your replies, very much appreciated. It wasn't until today when i listed some of these and had a read of these forums that i realised that i had some of the more sought after CE's. Mmmm, makes me wonder if i really want to let them go now, might have to get rid of the single disc editions that i've got instead to make room on the shelves. So many Disney DVD's....so many choices now to make. :)

Thanks again.

Didn't know it had been deleted!

I thought it might have indicated demand for the original 1-disc release on dvd. I have that version but have been meaning to upgrade to the collector's edition for ages

Saw three copies in hmv yesterday - better pick it up sharpish!
