Oh and by the way, any chance of a Little Mermaid 2 re-release?

Your parents think it's weird to watch Disney movies?

Re: The Little Merman on Disney Duster's turf?!?!?!
Nice feedback guys! I do realize it was a bit on the crowded side, but I just wanted to try some ideas out.
Thanks, Mike. I have a feeling you sort of get that it was supposed to be funny. For all of you who don't realize, the shark in my avatar is that from the original Jaws poster. So yeah, I was trying to parody the film by adding Ariel swimming over him.

Disney Duster wrote:Meanwhile, I absoluteley loooove your avatar! It is supposed to be funny, right, because you're not using the shark from the film. But it's a rather genius idea... Did you want to find pictures of the shark? His name is Glut, by the way, and I could help you.

For all of you "Silence Is Golden" fans, here are the lyrics:
You won’t sing, you won’t speak
Not a word, not a sqeak
Not a peep, not a squeal
That’s the price, love, that’s the deal
But silence, silence is golden my dear
Up there they hate chatter
So what does it matter
If you become mute (nobody likes a loudmouth!)
I mean it
Silence, silence is golden my dear
Don’t you think you should try it
They’ll say “she’s so quiet, so shy and so cute!”
Well, take it or leave it, that’s all, that’s the bargain
Go on, take a stand, make a choice
Remeber you’ll get the legs and the lungs and the prince
All I get is the voice
And you’ll be
Silent, but silence is golden, sign here
There’s no choice for you since
You’re in love with a prince
But relax, I’ve been told
Silence is gold
You won’t sing, you won’t speak
Not a word, not a sqeak
Not a peep, not a squeal
That’s the price, love, that’s the deal
But silence, silence is golden my dear
Up there they hate chatter
So what does it matter

All I get is the voice
And you’ll be
Silent, but silence is golden, sign here
There’s no choice for you since
You’re in love with a prince
But relax, I’ve been told
Silence is gold

I'm not sure if anyone's posted this, but this is the Jessica Simpson version of 'Part of your world' which isn't that bad to be honest.

Yeah Jodi Benson's will always be the best, but seeing as I don't really like Jessica's stuff, I didn't think it was that bad. The Spanish one is nice, it brings back memories of when I used to learn SpanishTheSequelofDisney wrote:The video was okay, I much rather perfer Jodi Benson's, though.

The spanish one is pretty. Little off topic, but here is the Spanish version of Strangers Like Me. I like it, too. Okay, now we can go back on topic.Enchantress wrote:Yeah Jodi Benson's will always be the best, but seeing as I don't really like Jessica's stuff, I didn't think it was that bad. Yeah, Laura Vlasbom's singing as Ariel is great. I'm Dutch so I grew up with this Ariel. I think she's even better than the American one (and I don't say something like that very often).TheSequelofDisney wrote:WOW!waltdisney123 wrote:If you think jodi is the best, then you have to watch the dutch version![]()

But top of the bill is Nelly Frije, the Dutch Ursulla.
I've never heard such a great dubbing.
Check it out!

Even though I am a fan of Jessica Simpson, I didn't think that her version would be very good...but I'm pleasantly surprised! She did a great job, though the original will always be the best.

I have a few friends who think it's strange that I watch Disney movies, and some that can't get their head around collecting them, but I don't care because I'm not collecting for them!MerXAN wrote:Enchantress wrote: Mine? Hey, if anyone's interested, Disney now has the TLM sweepstake going.... They also posted the prizes, which show pics of some of the upcoming LM products.
The biggest thing I noticed is that there is going to be a 2-disk Special Edition SOUNDTRACK for TLM...which i think is exciting!
So, ya. Its not huge news, but its something. I still can't WAIT until the PE comes out!
