From TCG2, or TCG? I haven't listened to the ones on TCG2, but the songs from TCG are okay now/sometimes a bit annoying. When I first saw the movie on the Disney Channel, I was totally hooked on the songs, I would sing them everyday, and my parents would get really mad. Now, they are just songs that go with the movie, but they are okay. I mean, they are nothing like the songs from HSM, now those songs are the BEST!!!!

In their web site you can hear 15 seconds of each song. (of TCG2)
They are coolest than the first one and you'll love more the sequel than the first movie. Trust me! :D

now it works for me as well.
I guess the site was down when I tried. :)

What do you guys think?
If the story is good, I think it will be a nice follow up to the original. :)

I really enjoyed The Cheetah Girls. I thought that it was very manufactured, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it immensely. I always enjoy DCOMs, maybe that's because I'm in Disney's target age group for these type of things -(I am 14 years of age). I also enjoyed Twitches, High School Musical, Cadet Kelly, The Even Stevens Movie, and the Kim Possible Movie- So The Drama. But don't think that I just enjoy these manufactured movies! I am in love with The L Word, Six Feet Under, Nip/Tuck, and other shows of that ilk.
I am eagerly anticipating the sequel of The Cheetah Girls, and also looking forward to the High School Musical sequel (I watched it last week, taped it, and am hopefully buying the DVD today!). I hope they don't disappoint.
The songs were pretty good in The Cheetah Girls, but HSM's were way better (no offense!).

Very good point, James. They are quite manufactured. I'm 20 and remember the days when Disney would put a little more effort into their made for tv movies. Though still low quality Im still quite attached to "Brink!", "Smart House" and "The Thirteenth Year".
I did like High School Musical. It was cheesy and badly written/acted but I like that they are at least trying to bring families together again.

I'm really luuurving that "Strut" song that've been playing on the Disney Channel quite a bit. Hopefully the film won't disappoint.

Since it is a big hit, I guess they had this right when they announced the DVD before it even aired. Now I suppose we should expect no less than 3 different releases of the DVD? :D

Exactly. I can imagine that Disney will release this in December, in time for Christmas, and they'll probably bundle it together with a nother edition of the 1st film in a new pack. Then they'll release the sequel again- "Ravenlicious Edition"- when the third film comes out. After that extensive re-releasing and rebundling will occur as they milk all that The Cheetah Girls are worth, and then they'll package the DVDs with the CDs, and promote them when Raven DVDs are released. Just guessing here.
