I usually don't journey into a Best Buy unless they have a good deal (i.e. buy Howl's Moving Castle or Totoro/Whisper and save $6), so I don't know if I'll be going any time soon to see if they have any tins.

I'd be willing to pay someone if they could get me a Goofy and/or Silly Symphonies from a Best Buy. I don't have one near me and I can't get out as much as I used to.

I only need 5 more Treasures to complete my collection of the ones released to date and the rest I can find pretty easily.

I was just at my local Best Buy and picked up a copy of The Chronological Donald: Volume 1. If I have any extra money, I'll definitely go back and snatch one of the Mickey Mouse in Living Color: Volume 2 sets that I also saw.

dvdjunkie, did your Best Buy have all of those tins this week or are you talking about the past?
We are talking about this week, why would I post something from the past. Yes, these are all the tins I found at both of Best Buys. And I found three copies of Chronological Donald Vol 2 at Sam's Club this afternoon.

I picked up the Tomorrland Treasure in Southlake TX Best Buy. No Goofy or SS there. They had one of the Donald's and 3 of the 4 Mickey's.
...and so you two are absolutely identical? You know I'm sure I can get you a part in Toy Story 3... I'm sorry. Are we back? All right girls...lovely talking to you.

Ah, Tomorrowland is one of those volumes that most people didn't think much about until they'd seen it. Quite marvellous, IMO. Highly recommended! Well, they all are.

Well, that was a day off wasted!

I go to BestBuy (it's a 15-minute walk from Florida Mall), and all they've got are:

Mickey Mouse Color V2
Mickey Mouse BW V2
Chrono Donald V1
Rarities

And since Kram and I already have those, the walk was a waste!

My Best Buy had Mickey Mouse In Living Color Volume 2, Chronological Donald Volume 1, and Mickey Mouse Black and White Volume 2.

I picked up MMILC2 today. They only had 2 of those left so I got one of them. There were still quite a few of the other 2 sets. I may go back to get Donald volume 1 at another time.

As an FYI for others...

The Best Buy website allows you to check store inventory before you head out...

I always forget that, but thanks to you, I checked they had Donald vol. 1 and away I went. I'm a happy camper now.

Cool! :) I should have mentioned, though, that one has to be careful with the BB site when it comes to the inventory search. Sometimes the catalog will show an item as being in stock but gone when I get to the store (which could, of course, mean it was sold in the meantime) and sometimes the catalog will say the items is not in stock but I'll see it in the store.

I always call and check the price first because the pricing can be off, as well. There have been times when the online price is cheaper than the sticker price in the store. In that case, I order it online and specify pick-up, so then I get it at the cheaper price. Makes no sense, doesn't it? I e-mailed their customer service and asked them to explain why this is, and I got some canned reply.

Stopped by Best Buy today to see if all these rumors were actually true, and thankfully, it was. Here's what mine had:

- Mickey Mouse: Living Color V2
- Mickey Mouse: Black & White V2
- Chronological Donald: V1
- Elfego Baca and The Swamp Fox
- Rarities
- On the Front Lines

I think they also might've had a copy of Tomorrowland, though I don't quite remember.

Picked up Mickey Mouse: Living Color V2, which I've been searching for forever, so I'm feelin' pretty awesome right now.

Well I am scratching my head. Why would Best Buy's all the sudden find all these old Disney tins and put them out for sale? Not wanting to miss out on this, I will definitely go to some local ones and check, but the closest one to me, which is in Los Feliz, never had any old waves of tins laying around. They got in Wave in 2005 but that was it. Nothing on the shelves from past waves. I am pretty familiar with their stock. Does anyone know why/how the Best Buys all the sudden have previous waves in stock?

yes, here is the want list: Davey Crocket, Goofy, MM B&W Vol. 1.....

Uh, I can't recall them off the top of my head but I actually keep a list of my tins in my purse just in case when I am somewhere I can check to see what a store might have vs. what I still need to get. Yes, indeedy, I do keep the list in my purse.

My Best Buy only had copies of DD vol 1, MM in BW vol 2 and OTFL. I already own all the treasures except the old T.V. show ones, but I was sorta hoping to find MM in Color vol 1 and SS, because my copies don't have tins and since those ones had the #'s on them it makes them special. I know, just for the stupid tin.

How did you end up with the discs but without the tins for them?

I bought them from someone who probably bought the treasure chest so they just came in the regular DVD cases that are inside the tins.

Can someone list all the tins, I might want to start collecting them if there is not a lot to collect, becuase I have none, and was never interested in the tins. Can someone please give me the whole list of tins? Thanks.
