179 minutes is 2 hours and 59 minutes, not 2 hours and 19.
I'm not very good at math.
TLM, I think that your cover is a little too crowded.
The Little Merman, I really admire your effort. Your cover looks pretty. But I also think it's too crowded. I would remove either the palace or King Triton. Except for that, you did a good job. I'm amazed that you made Flotsam and Jetsam actually work out. So that's extra good. Disneykid should like that. But it's just a litle too crowded.
Meanwhile, I absoluteley loooove your avatar! It is supposed to be funny, right, because you're not using the shark from the film. But it's a rather genius idea... Did you want to find pictures of the shark? His name is Glut, by the way, and I could help you.

*tlm
I think that the palace looks great on the cover, but maybe it could look better on the center instead of Sebastian and he could be near the Disney DVD logo
The Flounder one sounds so adorkably cute, I can hardly wait to get it! And Ariel of course, is just gorgeous... I wish they had a picture up for her castle, I'd love to see that.
Kinda strange it's all listed as 'Disney Princess', rather than just TLM. But I still suspect it's all PE related.
Oh, and there are two board games I didn't link to. A quick search on Amazon should pull them up if you're really obsessive like me
hehehe, funny I didn't know dolphins could shimmer !
For the Disney Platinum covers...Have they stopped using a silver banner on the top and bottom? So far Lion King and Bambi have gold banners, but Lady and the Tramp had silver but his is sea green. Will they change it at the last minute? I hope the banner shimmers though, hehehehe.
Prince Ali wrote:Oh and by the way, any chance of a Little Mermaid 2 re-release?
There's been no official announcement, but we're almost positive it will be revisited. So far, once a platinum edition movie is released, its sequel is re-released (or in some cases, created) anywhere between a few months to a year. Cinderella was the sole exception, but we're pretty sure TLM2 will get a re-release.

I actually wouldn't bet too soon on Cinderella being the sole exception. Remember that Cinderella III comes out fall of 2007, so I'd expect to see a re-release of Cinderella II either summer of 2007, or around the same time as the third one.

When I said it was the sole exception, I meant that it was the only movie in the platinum line so far that hadn't had its sequel released within a year of the original.
But you're probably right. We'll probably see a re-release of C2 around the time C3 comes around.

Oh, sorry. It would make sense, though, to re-release Cinderella II this fall so that each film is a year apart. I guess Disney wants to save money on the marketing campaign by advertising two sequels at once instead of spending money getting Dreams Come True known to the public just to pave the way for A Twist in Time (when my sister saw the Cinderella III trailer on the original's DVD, she asked, "When did they make a II?").
I've never seen CII, but I want to add it too my collection, no matter what other people say about how this sequel is a Saturday-Morning Cinderella TV show. Hopefully it will be here before CIII, and hopefully I'll have more money than I do now.

It's actually not as bad as people say it is. I enjoyed it.
Prince Ali wrote:Thanks for the feedback! But isn't Scamp's Adventure the only sequal that's been re-released so far?
Nah ah. Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride were re-released shortly after their original counterparts, while Belle's Magical World, The Lion King 1 and 1/2, The Return of Jafar, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, and Bambi II made their DVD debuts after their original counterparts.

I suppose those banners' colors are to match the cover.
Sea green is perfect for TLM. Imagine a red one- that would be yuck.
