Keep Track of your Avatars!

Post by Jules »

I have created this thread so that (if you like it), you can keep a record of your avatars in it. This way we will never forget a classic avatar!

If you want you can keep track of your signature images here aswell.

These have been my avatars so far:

Bring Back Jackie!
Image
When Doctor Who lost Rose, we also lost her supporting cast of Jackie and Mickey. Well, this is the start of my campaign to get Jackie Tyler off the alternative Earth and back on "our" Earth, where she belongs; giving wit and wisdom to The Doctor.

Rose? Ah, she can just stay on Alt Earth for all I care. It would never work luv, he's at least 900 years older than you are!

Goodbye, My Sarah-Jane
Image
Goodbye? I have a feeling we'll be saying Hello once more to Sarah-Jane soon... Like, perhaps New Year's Day 2007?

Want That One

Write your own Andy and Lou sketch here. Remember to end with Andy doing something "unexpected" at the end.

Will ya 'ave a cuppa tea?

Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on GO ON!

The Genesis Ark
Image
I think this will be my next avatar (I stole it off some over forum. ): The Genesis Ark. A stolen Time-Lord prison ship made with Time-Lord technology - it's bigger on the inside than the outside - and holds millions of Daleks, and its how the Dalek Supreme intends to re-establish the Dalek race after the Time War.

Explain Your Avatar
Explain Your Avatar: The Sequel!!
Explain Your Siggy

Anyways, what I remember for my avatars:

1. My first ever was a screencap from a 1989 episode of Another World. IIRC, it was Cass and Frankie at a baseball game.

2. For some odd reason, I think I changed it later to a simple picture of GusGus, from Cinderella.

3. Kram e-mailed me one day and said, "THIS IS YOUR NEW AVATAR AND YOU'RE GOING TO USE IT AND YOU'RE GOING TO ENJOY IT!" or something like that. Anyway, it was an avatar of Donald sitting down and reding a book.

Between Donald and the next four, I might have had a new one, or not, I don't really remember. But these four are in my photobucket account, so I know that they are my four latest.

Image
When The Incredibles came out, a bunch of us had Incredible Avatars, and I was able to get Frozone. I'm guessing I used this in November 2004 till sometime in 2005.

Image
Yes, I am a Bree fan. This came after Frozone, and I think it lasted until October 2005

Image
Hehe, this was during my snarky period when I was back in New Jersey and no longer at the mouse house. I think it was my longest-living avatar, from October 2005 until I changed it to Gromit.

Image
You can't go wrong with Gromit!

Hmm... Escapay, you have an interesting avatar history, though unfortunately many of your avatars have disappeared in the mists of time...

By the way, I don't to make a repetition of the "Explain you Avatar" threads. My intention is different. I want to create a sort of avatar museum. (Makes it sound awfully serious  .)

My truly expansive avatar history began with my current avatar, the Magic Carpet from Aladdin. I had that one for about 2 months, and then I switched to an avatar starring my favorite Family Guy character:

Image

, which I kept for about a week and a half. Then, I switched to the Carpet avatar again, which I'm still using today.

Hmm, I guess my avatar history isn't as expansive as I thought.

If there is an award for most used avatars in a short amount of time- i think i'd take the whole kit-n-caboodle for that...

over my time here i've had quite a few- some outlasted more then others & not in any paticular order. I know I had more too- a Pocahontas one w/ 'If I Never Knew You' sequence, and more Cinderella avatars that went w/ the whole wedding theme- just dont know where they are on my computer...anyways: here is what I recalled so far:

My first avatar was cropped from a drawing I made to represent my online persona (each of the second images are clickable for a larger view). . .

<img src="http://img128.imageshack.us/img128/6393 ... 100kz3.png" alt="EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" /> <a href="http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ewstarer0ay.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/3398/e ... 0ay.th.png" border="0" /></a>

And here's my second avatar, with my characters drawn as Powerpuff Girls:

<img src="http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/9217/ppgem1009ga.gif" alt="Powerpuff Gems!!!" /> <a href="http://img263.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... mcr6my.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/5749 ... 6my.th.png" border="0" /></a>

Here is my third one, a cropped off goth-esque Snow White I did a while back (can't display the full-sized one):

<img src="http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/6691/a27iy5.png" alt="Cuz we need a little controversy" />

Here's my fourth, a KP-style self-portrait of how I looked as a senior in high school (done for a club at dA):

<img src="http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/4973/ewhighavpf5.png" alt="class of 1994" /> <a href="http://img115.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ewhighwnv5.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/6918 ... nv5.th.png" border="0" /></a>

And here's my current, a drawing I did of Shego earlier this year:

<img src="http://img470.imageshack.us/img470/9219/shegavxi3.png" alt="bad girl" /> <a href="http://img196.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... resxb7.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/9402 ... xb7.th.png" border="0" /></a>

I see myself coming back to this post to edit in any future ones so they can all stay together. :D

Wow! :o Isidour. You've got loads of avatars. Did you get to use them all?

By the way, Nick Bryant, I don't think you should have revealed your future avatars just yet.

No need to archive my avatar.

<--------------------------------------------------- Since Day 1!

I actually thought about making a switch when Eight Below was released, but changed my mind when I thought about how long I've actually had this avatar. Been my only image here...no sense changing that now.
