Disneyland President, Ouimet, leaves & Grier to replace

I just heard that Matt Ouimet, former President of Disneyland, has left to become President of Starwood Hotels and Resort; Ed Grier is to replace him.

This is very big and very surprising news. Ouimet's become a fan favorite and has really done a great job with his role in Disneyland. It's long been rumored that he would rise to even higher exec positions in the company... definitely sad to see him go. Let's just hope his successor doesn't reverse the positive trend attributed to Ouimet.

Like Aaron I am shocked. Thought Ouimet and Rasulo made a really good team. He had done a good job. Too bad.
