The songs from Saludos Amigos & Three Caballeros

Post by edigrieg »

Hi

I'm searching for some information about some songs from that two Disney movies. It's for my German Website about the wonderful music of Disney http://edigrieg.piranho.com/music-index.htm

First I'm searching for the name of the song, that can be heard in Saludos Amigos while the narrator explains something about the Brazilian Carnival (just before the song Brazil). Some lyrics I can understand goes like "tici tici ta". That song can also be heard in the cartoon "Pluto's blue note" in that scene when he is in the record shop and puts his tail on the record and THAT song comes out of his mouth (no I don't speak about "you belong to my heart" sung by Bing Crosby later!!!!)
Maybe somebody here has a DVD where the captions have some better information.

The next is something about Three Caballeros:

Some sites in the net mention two songs called
- Pregoes carioca (Joao de Barro & Carlo Braga)
and
- Pandeiro & Flute (Benedicto Lacerda)

does somebody know something about that two songs ?

One could may be the train-song, when José and Donald travel to Baia (interrupted by the Araquan bird)
The other could be the traditional song, Panchito called Jarabe Pateño (written phonetically).

In fact it's not the song that followed (Lilongo - by Charro Gill)
even not Zandunga (Donalds dance with that flower girl)
and the Cactus-Polka (Jesuita en Chihuahua), that follows after the flower-dance.

All other songs like Three Caballeros, Mexico, Baia, Have you ever been to Baia and YaYa (the cookie lady) are also located.

I know these movies are really old, but if nobody HERE knows something about that, who else :)
